We're used to hearing Americans complain about the lack of decent wagon options here in the States. When we do get them, they often seem watered down and frumpy, save for a few high-dollar performance options. This 1997 Accord is sporty, efficient, practical, and reliable, and best of all it hits an affordable price point. The sleek styling has been accentuated by a set of OEM rainguards, privacy tint, a factory-optional lip kit, and 17" Enkei Sporsh Designato R18 alloys. Rocking a fresh coat of Electron Blue Pearl (B95-P) the body and paint are in good shape overall, although we did want to note a prior replacement of the rear bumper. Fresh off a recent service, this CF6 is a real head turner, and offered with a mere 58k verified and documented miles. Comfortable, reliable, and chock full of cargo space, this Accord might just be your next favorite Japanese Classic.

The cabin offers decent outward visibility and tons of space for friends, family, and cargo. Layered in sweeping glass panels, the rear cabin assumes an almost UFO like aesthetic. The modern-styled dash lacks any cracking or fading and houses dual front SRS airbags and a neat OEM navigation/tv radio unit. While the nav screen has cracked a bit over the years, the Japan-only unit is more of a novelty than anything and an automatic climate control system rests below, primed to send cold A/C or heat through the cabin. While the HVAC works swell, the blower motor is a bit noisy on higher speeds. The new owner will be able to find the ideal driving position thanks to an adjustable steering column and comfortable patterned grey cloth seats. The latter of which lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. Electric folding side mirrors, power locks, and power windows make daily use more enjoyable and work in typical Honda fashion, and a power moonroof easily unfurls should you prefer some extra ventilation in the cabin. The door cards match the seat upholstery and are in good shape as is the headliner. The previous owner even kept the original carpeted floor mats in great shape so your upholstery is protected underneath. The cargo area has withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major abuse, and the rear seats can be folded flat to accommodate more storage in a pinch. True to the Accord's reliable reputation, the interior of this wagon follows suit!

Under the bonnet, the F23A should be a familiar sight for any stateside Honda mechanic. A punchy 2.3l VTEC four banger, this wagon is fresh off an oil and filter service and starts up with the twist of the key care of a new 12v battery. Our trained technicians have performed a thorough service to give this one the green light for the road ahead as well! A fresh valve cover gasket was installed to seal this one up against unwanted leaks of lubricant, and we installed a new thermostat and coolant temp sensor to aid in thermal management. With the work performed she's ready to rip and the SOHC VTEC powerplant puts out an impressive amount of torque down low! At speed, this Accord handles itself nicely and the suspension glides over road imperfections with ease. The ABS brakes clamp down hard when called upon and the factory electronic power steering adjustment is a futuristic feature that gives you full control over your steering weight. Lastly we've wrapped the chrome alloys in fresh Falken rubber, eliminating unnecessary NVH and delivering plenty of grip for tens of thousands of miles to come!
