A refined Land Cruiser that exceeds today's standards is an understatement when you talk about the Toyota 90 series. A healthy redesign, comfortable interior bits, and reliability to back it up are examples of just why the Prado is still being built today and one of the brands best selling Land Cruisers. This 1996 Toyota Prado TZ example has a mere 147K verified and documented miles and for a Toyota diesel, is just starting its life. Finished in Toyota's stunning Stellar Blue and Gray Metallic two-tone (K14) the body is in great shape with minimal wear and tear to report. Aside from the OEM rainguards and OEM brushguard with fog lights, the Prado remains unmodified, true to the original Toyota design. Inside the massive 7 seater cabin you'll find heaps of amenities and cargo space for days. The seats are outfitted in a two-tone gray cloth with no major bolster wear or rips to be noted. The dash is free of any major UV damage or cracks, and both the driver and passenger benefit from dual front SRS airbags for added safety.  There's plenty of leg and headroom even when you load the Prado up to its max occupancy of 7 passengers, and you have the ability to fold the seats out of the way for even more cargo space when needed. The 3rd row can collapse down and be suspended up to allow you access to the rear cargo area, which comes with an all-weather cargo mat. This 90 series comes well equipped with power amenities to make the time spent inside more comfortable. Power windows and locks are operable as expected, and the power mirrors are adjustable and have a folding capability all of which operate flawlessly. The center console has a classy woodgrain trim that carries over to the dash and door cards to break up the color inside. The field monitor system over the center console is beneficial when you are off the beaten path giving you accurate readings with a compass and altimeter. The A/C is functional and ready to cool you down and the heat is hot just in time for the season change. Thanks to the digital automatic climate control, you can set your desired temperature and go! The door cards are intact but have some tears on the front driver and passenger doors to note, and the carpet reveals no stains and has been well maintained. Above you will find the headliner clear of any sagging and stains and a power sunroof to allow some fresh air and sunshine inside. This 90 Series is an incredibly well cared for Land Cruiser and it shows!

This engine is no slouch and don't let the count of cylinders give you any doubt about the torque and power-packed under the bonnet is more than adequate. A simple twist of the key and the 1KZ comes to life with the 2 new 12V batteries installed here at the dealership. The newly intercooled 1KZ has no issues doing highway speeds or getting up to merging speed. The 4-speed automatic transmission shifts seamlessly through all the gears and our trained technicians installed brand new shifter bushings upon inspection. The brakes are impressive, slowing this rig down to a stop promptly even at this size of a machine with the assistance of the new front brake pads and rotors.
