The 90 Series Prado does it all, and this 1996 in one hell of a good truck. It's capable, refined, spacious, and generously equipped! Finished in British Green over Grey (K12), this 3.4L V6 powered rig is set off by an OEM brushguard, factory rainguards, privacy tint and some classic Bridgestone NR595 alloys. There are a few chips, dings, and scuffs associated with normal use but the best part about this example is all the recently performed service. Offered with a mere 119k verified and documented miles, this one is barely broken in and just had the timing belt and water pump job taken care of! For families with an abundance of rugrats, adventure seekers, and off-road enthusiasts, this special VZJ95 is an impressive driving rig, and a certified Japanese Classic.

The eight seat cabin is in above-average shape and has been obviously cared for in a prior life. The dash is in good nick and sports a recently replaced OEM field monitor, which displays the outside conditions. The switchgear is all at hand and this Prado features functional dual-zone automatic climate control with ice-cold A/C and functional heat. If natural ventilation is your preference a power retractable sunroof sits above and lets in tons of natural light. The drive also benefits from an adjustable steering column, power folding mirrors, and electric locks and windows. These work flawlessly and make daily use enjoyable. The same can be said for the more modern Carrozzeria head unit which is easy to operate and even has a controller. The gray cloth upholstery is also in decent nick. It lacks any rips, stains, or tears and is comfy on long hauls. The carpets have some very minor staining, but the headliner and door cards look just fine! The interior plastics look good except for the steering wheel which has a new cover on it. Other than that, and a non-functional tach, it's really hard to complain about the cabin otherwise.

The mechanicals are in above average shape too, as a slate of expensive preventative maintenance has been performed in our shop. The next owner can rest assured that two of the most expensive services have been taken care of by us, saving time and money. The 5VZ-FE is fresh off an oil and filter service and a new timing belt and water pump were done, too. The compact V6 idles with confidence and is mated to a slick-shifting automatic gearbox. The FullTime 4WD system includes a locking center differential and low gearing if you plan to play around in the back forty, or hit the beach. The suspension is predictable and compliant and new lower ball joints have been installed to add some peace of mind for the next owner. The steering is on point and the brakes feel confident. The front brake pads and rotors, and all four tires were replaced around 2,500 miles ago and should last for quite a while to come.
