For those who are looking for the perfect all-around midsize SUV, look no further. This stunning one-off Bombay Black, lifted, 4WD Surf can do it all. Practical, reliable, and inexpensive to operate, this 2.7L Toyota is fresh off a recent service. Touting only 86k verified and documented miles on the clock, this special rig is turn key ready to roll. Set off by a refinished set of 16" aftermarket alloys, an OEM spare tire swingarm, and privacy tint, this SSR-X model is in good shape aside from some light dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use. Stylish, collectible, and trustworthy these N185s are hard to beat and are our best-selling Japanese Classic truck for a reason!

The cabin is about as nice as any Surf we have seen and it's clear it was cared for in Japan. The dash lacks any cracking or distortion and includes dual SRS airbags for those who may be safety conscious. The driver also benefits from adjustable lumbar support and an adjustable steering column, as well as power locks and mirrors. Automatic climate control is equipped which spews piping hot heat or cold A/C on demand. For those who prefer natural ventilation power windows and an option factory sunroof can be unfurled, along with the rear glass. In Japan, a classy Pioneer headunit was added that works like a charm. The cloth seats are in good shape and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. They are protected by pricy fitted leather covers, bringing an upscale feel to the cabin. The middle row can be folded flat and can 4-way recline. The door cards are in good shape, and were upgraded to leather before the truck arrived in the States. The carpets and headliner are in good nick and overall it's hard to nitpick the cabin.

Under the skin, this Surf is nearly the same as stateside versions, down to the engine, suspension, and running gear. The 3RZ-FE starts up promptly care of a new 12v battery. So that the 2.7L has a fresh start, we took care of plenty of preventative maintenance. The engine air filter, fuel filter, and spark plugs were all replaced with new units, and we also took care of the valve cover gasket which was leaking. The oil pump seal and distributor o-ring also had an accumulation of oil and we took care of those issues additionally. To complete the powertrain services, a set of new serpentine belts were chucked on to keep the electronics properly powered and under hood squeaks to a minimum. The peppy little engine sends power through a smooth-shifting automatic. For the best straight line performance and top-tier fuel economy, the driver can elect to use RWD. For loose surfaces and inclement weather, 4WD can be engaged with a press of a button. For the worst of the worst driving scenarios, a low-range 4WD setting is also on hand. Acceleration is nearly as good as the V6 and around town, this Surf is peppy blasting from stoplight to stoplight. The suspension is predictable and can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse. It also offers loads of ground clearance. One of our trained techs installed new lower ball joints up front for state inspection and a little added peace of mind. The ABS brakes are capable feeling and have been improved with new pads and rotors up front. The power steering is light, communicative, and easy to articulate. New inner and outer tie rods have been taken care of , as well. The 16" wheels are all wrapped in new 33" Falken tires at all four corners. The new rubber looks mean, but most importantly will last for tens of thousands of more miles to come.
