Subaru's model lineup shares their well-known symmetrical all-wheel drivetrain and recognizable boxer engine design. This 1996 Subaru Legacy GT-B wagon is a wonderful example of the brand's commitment to quality, reliability, and sportiness. This Aspen White (51E) beauty is far from stock-packed full of performance and cosmetic upgrades. Tasteful modifications aesthetically include the FRP body kit that gives you a more lowered stance without sacrificing ground clearance, upgraded HID lighting so you can see the road ahead, to 18" AVS F7 wheels wrapped in brand new Falken tires at all four corners. With only a mere 115K verified and documented miles, this Legacy is just getting broken in. The body is in good shape and shows only minor blemishes such as a few dings and rock chips from typical use throughout the years. Notable repairs during this vehicle's life overseas include a rear passenger door rear passenger quarter panel. This spunky 5-seater family hauler is fun, spacious, and sporty all wrapped into one versatile package. For the JDM enthusiast who values ease of ownership, performance, and practicality, this is an amazing Japanese Classic wagon!

Spacious is an understatement when it comes to the cabin design. You can easily fit five passengers aboard and still have plenty of cargo space in the hatch for your belongings. The previous owner did have quite the audio system but it was removed overseas. The dash is in good nick and lacks any cracking or distortion. The legacy comes with digital automatic climate control with cold A/C and heat for the changing seasons to come. This GT-B is nicely equipped with plenty of power amenities. The power windows, locks, mirrors are all working as they should and you also get a double sunroof. The front will give you the option to tilt and the rear glass will retract open to allow fresh air and sunlight in. The OEM power mirrors were removed for a pricey set of Ganadors, which are manually adjusted and look fantastic. The seats are fitted in blue with striped gray inserts that are soft to the touch with no signs of rips or tears. The door cards are custom, with a blue accent insert to break up the flow, and we are intact and have withstood the test of time without major abuse. When the Legacy is not occupied with passengers, the rear seats do fold down easily to ensure larger items are can be transported.

The well-known symmetrical all-wheel-drive system is beloved by enthusiasts, as well as the EJ20R twin-turbo boxer engine. Revised for 1996 it add a healthy heap of horsepower to the stat sheet. For those in the know, the GT-B models made around 30 ponies over the EJ20H powered Legacy's. This 2.0-liter four-banger packs plenty of low-end torque and horsepower to give you an enjoyable driving experience. Paired with a 5-speed manual transmission the driver has full of this neutral chassis Smooth shifts are seamless and no grinds are noted. Tasteful modifications include an HKS Air filter for better breathing and an HKS Hi-Silent Catback exhaust system to amplify the notorious boxer sound. We fixed many of the typical problem areas associated with used Subaru's of this vintage. The valve cover gaskets, cam seals, and front main were all replaced to keep the EJ topped up on oil. The most expensive service, the timing belt was taken care of too! This GT-B model came equipped with the Bilstein suspension but was then swapped out to a set of Tein adjustable coilovers. We have refreshed the suspension with new inner and outer tie rods and with new bellows boots while on the lift. A front and rear strut tower bar work to minimize the body roll when you are taking turns spiritedly. The brakes from the factory were ditched for an upgraded set of V7 STi Brembo brakes out front and in the rear of this wagon to provide decreased stopping distances. When we were inspecting this legacy, our trained technicians performed some maintenance bits and fixes to give the new owner peace of mind with this purchase. Recently Virginia Safety inspected and Off of a fresh oil and filter service, this legacy GT-B is road-ready as a commuter or a weekend warrior.
