No matter how you set up a Hilux Surf, it sure is a wonderful rig. Reliable, safe, stylish, and inexpensive to own, it's no surprise these have become an instant Japanese Classic. The N180 platform is great in stock form, but big lifted beasts like our 1996 are where it's at! Finished in Desert Dune Metallic (1A5), this Surf is complimented by a factory optional OEM front valance with integrated LED fogs, factory rainguards, an OEM rear spoiler, oversized fender flares, and 16" alloy wheels shod with 33" all-terrain rubber. Aside from some light dings, chips, scuffs, and some cracking on the factory decals, the paint is in good shape overall. Packing some performance upgrades to match the aesthetics, this turn-key hauler is offered with a mere 111k verified and documented miles. Best of all this turbo diesel 4x4 is fresh off a recent service and can be put to task for camping, daily driving, or wheeling as soon as it leaves our lot. Collectible, fun, and ready for year-round use, this tremendous Toyota won't last long.

The cabin is in good overall shape and was cared for in its prior life in Japan. The new owner will surely love the multicolored OEM floor mats and epic audio system that arrived with the car from overseas! There is much else to appreciate, such as the standard dual front SRS airbags, which add some peace of mind when behind the wheel. The view of the road ahead is clear, and the commanding ride height promotes above-average visibility. For comfort, adjustable lumbar support and a tilting steering column are on standby. The seats are trimmed in a durable blue corduroy style cloth. They lack any major rips, stains, or tears, and are great for long road trips. Unlike American 4Runners the rear seats are 4-way reclinable. The driver benefits from a slate of electric equipment such as a power sunroof, electric windows, door locks, and power mirrors, all of which work like a charm. If natural ventilation is your thing, feel free to roll down the rear glass, which is powered too! For those who need a quick respite from the heat, the rear privacy tint and automatic air conditioning don't hurt. A new compressor was taken care of by our team to keep you ice cold in summer. If you want to play some tunes the Carrozzeria headunit and massive dual Kenwood subwoofers will surely rock the house. Aside from a center climate vent that needs replacement, a small burn hole on the driver seat bottom, and a divot in the center console armrest, it's really hard to complain about this rig! It even has the rare OEM rubberized boot mat, which goes for a pretty penny by itself!

This body-on-frame truck is powered by one of the most legendary and reliable drivetrains Toyota ever assembled! While this weighty statement may sound a bit grandiose, punch the throttle just once and the 1KZ-TE will surely impress. This 3.0L sump is fresh off an oil and filter service, and starts up promptly with the twist of the key thanks to a new 12v battery. It sounds fantastic with it's Suxon catback, and the mellow tone compliments all the turbo noises! The four-banger idles confidently, and all new serpentine belts were replaced by one of our trained techs, as was the alternator. Torque is fed through a selective transfer case to two or all four wheels, depending on driver preference. For those looking to take an immediate beach trip, the wide, new 33" Falken tires and center locking differential will be all you need to keep the momentum moving forward. If you need to stop this massive ute, don't be intimidated. New front brake pads and rotors will happily clamp down, and if that wasn't enough, the rear drums and shoes were replaced, as well. The driveline was refreshed with a set of new axles up front, and new front upper and lower ball joints were installed while it was up on the lift. A good alignment was taken care of to promote long tire life and she now tracks straight as an arrow. The Rancho shocks deliver a soft ride, and this platform would make for a competent daily driver or family hauler.
