The Subaru Legacy GT-B is one of the brand's most underrated performance models. With a potent twin-turbo engine, beefy Bilstein dampers, room for five, and a healthy amount of cargo space this AWD wagon is hard to beat for fun and functionality. This 1996 Aspen White (51E) GT-B model is in great condition, with only the minor chips and dings you would expect to find on a 26-year-old vehicle. Offered with a mere 73K verified and documented miles this Subaru is turn-key ready to roll and fresh off a recent service. Set off by a pair of understated one-piece OEM rainguards and an aftermarket front lip this Subaru is certainly a wolf in sheep's clothing Sporty, practical, and reliable wonderful estate does about everything well and is a certified Japanese Classic.

The cabin design is spacious, to say the least. You can comfortably seat five people with plenty of leg and headroom to spare and even have enough room in the rear for a furry friend, thanks to the OEM cargo divider. The interior is unmodified and even includes the original radio, which functions properly and provides decent sound quality. If tunes aren't your thing, the boxer rumble is always available! The dash is free of any cracking or major UV damage and provides an unobstructed view of the road ahead. This wagon is well optioned with power amenities such as electric windows, locks, power heated mirrors, with a power-folding capability, that all function properly. Additionally, two large sunroofs allow for additional ventilation on nice weather days, and both work as advertised. If the temperature isn't ideal outside, the digital climate control is easy to use and blows cold A/C, and the heat absolutely blasts for wintertime. The seats are fitted in a soft cloth and lack any rips, tears, or stains. The matching door cards look equally good. An adjustable steering column and factory Momo steering wheel give you optimal comfort on both short and long trips. The headliner is showing no sagging or stains and the carpets lack any major blemishes. It's hard to complain about the condition of the interior and this one was certainly cared for during its life in Japan.

The heart of this sleeper of a wagon is the 2.0L EJ20H twin-turbo boxer engine, mated to an automatic transmission. The GT-B fires up quickly up thanks to the new 12V battery. Additionally, our trained technicians performed some excellent maintenance to give the next owner peace of mind. A new timing belt and water pump were installed along with new valve cover gaskets, and cam seals, taking the worry out of the major preventative maintenance items. We also installed a new engine air filter, new knock sensor, new intake boot, and all new serpentine belts. The power band is linear and the acceleration is responsive to the driver input. Four new tires were installed to help keep the power on the road and give the next owner some year-round grip on most any road surface. The GT-B comes equipped with the beefy Bilstein suspension which makes this model stand out from its competition. The suspension is forgiving on bumps and potholes and the ride is comfy for simple commutes or long drives. The brakes are responsive thanks to new front and rear brake pads and new front rotors. We even had the rear rotors turned for proper pad bedding in. Fresh off an oil and filter service, you are good-to go until the next recommended service in 3k miles. Whether on a trip with the family, as daily commuter, or even a fun sleeper project, this Legacy GT-B is an amazing platform to own and ready for it's next chapter in life!
