Stock #5725
Stock #5725From desert battlefields to the African wilderness, and rolling down main street USA, Toyota's line of legendary pickups reign supreme. This 1995 is one stellar example, and is finished in a new coat of Barcelona Red Pearl (3R3) and set off by a set of period correct graphics, 15" aftermarket alloys, and a 3" lift. Simple and sturdy, this 4x4 is equipped with a nearly bulletproof diesel engine and a real deal five-speed manual to maximize the driver's control over the platform. Fresh off a recent service in our shop, this turn-key truck is offered with a mere 73k verified and documented miles. Collectible, capable, and reliable, this LN107 is a true Japanese Classic and a legendary workhorse of the 1990s! The cabin has more power equipment than you would expect from a truck of this age, and a lot more room than our regular cab USDM models. Surprisingly, the dash has remained uncracked over the past quarter century and is in good nick. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column and a clear view of the road ahead. The gray upholstery is durable and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The matching door cards have been equally well cared for, and the headliner and carpets have withstood the past 25 years without taking any major abuse. Carrozzeria audio is accessible via remote and plays clearly, although the next owner might want to budget for a more modern unit. Electric windows, door locks, and power mirrors all work in typical Toyota fashion and make daily use more enjoyable, and there's plenty of space in the rear for additional passengers if needed. To sweeten the deal even more, the A/C works properly and even the original owner's manuals and maintenance booklets are included in the sale. Under the skin, the simple and sturdy mechanicals are a big reason why these trucks have endured the test of time. At 2800cc, the naturally aspirated 3L four-banger powers this truck and is one of the brand's most bulletproof powerplants to date. Fresh off an oil and filter service, she cranks over quickly thanks to a new 12v battery. The engine idles with confidence and is linked to a manual gearbox. While the Hilux won't win you any pinks at the local drags, the engine makes enough power to cruise at highway speeds and sustain them. The transmission goes into gear properly and lacks any grinding when rowing gears up and down. If you need to traverse over some more cumbersome terrain, you can switch from rear drive to 4WD with a quick yank of the transfer case stick. If you really need to get some forward momentum a low-range 4WD setting can be accessed as well. Best of all, a rear diff locker is present to keep the momentum moving forward. If you need to slow this big red machine down from higher speeds, the brakes feel confident. Power steering makes parking easy in the tight confines of the city, and this truck is much more diminutive than your run-of-the-mill GMC Sierra, which is about as large as an M1 Abrams tank these days. The lifted suspension offers loads of ground clearance and is predictable even on this classic chassis. Lastly, we mounted and balanced 33" mud terrains on the refinished alloys. They look killer and most importantly will provide all the grip you need for tens of thousands of miles to come. *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
