It idles confidently and accelerates well mated to a trusty auto gearbox. Shifts feel confident and the driver can select whether they prefer 2WD or 4WD. A low-gear setting is available if the going gets tough, however, these rigs are nearly unstoppable. The suspension feels solid and the power-assisted steering makes this Hilux easy to maneuver.
