The Toyota HiAce is loved around the globe because it's refined, spacious and reliable. Models like this 1995 are fantastic daily drivers thanks to a punchy 3.0L turbodiesel and tons of power amenities. Finished in a Toyotas Silver Tri-Coat Metallic, and complemented by rear privacy tint, the body is in good shape other than some light scratches and small chips and dings. Offered with a mere 111k verified miles, this recently serviced and legally imported hauler is a turn-key and ready to hit the open road! As a kid hauler, marketing vehicle, or weekend cruiser this SuperCustom Limited HiAce is a seriously sweet Japanese Classic.

We are always impressed with how thoughtful Toyota's interior layout was. These cars had insane power amenities that were typically reserved for only luxury vehicles. Sure this one has working power-folding mirrors, power windows, and electric locks. That's not too surprising, but three sunroofs and a power-adjustable steering column and driver's seat are. And it doesn't end there; how about an icemaker CoolBox center console with a Hot Pot accessory for your morning coffee. This van has it all, except for the kitchen sink, even keyless entry. As it relates to condition, the dash is in good shape and lacks any cracking or distortion. Cabin upgrades include a function Kenwood head unit and an aftermarket steering wheel. The seats are upholstered in a gray cloth that is still soft to the touch. They lack any major imperfections such as rips, stains, or tears. The second-row swivels and slides to accommodate larger cargo and the rear row has been completely removed. Privacy tint keeps interior temps down in the summer and the automatic climate system works as it should. The van also has two powered rear sunroofs that open to provide additional ventilation. The front sunroof ventilates as well for additional cooling however this one is manually operated. Best of all is the Panasonic TV/VHS combo is located behind the driver and passenger. We couldn't check the systems functionality due to the fact that our local Blockbuster went out of business during the financial crisis of 2008. Still, along with the factory maintenance notes and books, the authenticity cant be replicated.

The drivetrain in this model is nearly bulletproof, and the 1KT-ZE is the heart of this beast! Fresh off an oil and filter service, the massive four-banger churns over quickly thanks to a new 12v battery. A new alternator and set of serpentine belts were installed for good measure. The engine idles fairly smooth for a big turbo-four and sends power through an automatic transmission to the rear wheels. Gear changes are performed without any hesitation or clunking and this sled cruises easily at US interstate speeds. The 1KT also can return impressive fuel economy if you keep your overall speed somewhat reasonable. The long-wheelbase allows for decent highway stability and the ride is soft with very few squeaks and rattles to note inside the cabin. The brakes feel capable and the power steering is light making this van easy to park in the city. The silver factory wheels are wrapped in new all-season tires at all four corners. They quiet the ride down nicely, deliver year-round grip, and should last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
