1995 Toyota Crown Majesta

Stock Number: 4996

Luxury is timeless, and those who understand it will surely be impressed by this 1995 Crown Majesta. Sturdy, reliable, smooth, and unflappable this Diamond White Pearl (051) example is offered with a mere 74K verified miles. Powered by a silky inline-six packed with tons of power amenities and safety features, you won't want to miss out on this stellar VIP Saloon. Aside from some light dings and chips on the body associated with normal use, this unmolested sedan has been cared for in a prior life and has benefited from a slate of recent service items. For those who want a well-built five-seater that exudes class, this Japanese Classic will fit the bill without breaking the bank!

The cabin is clean, spacious, and packed full of wonderful options. It's clear this car was cared for in Japan as evidenced by its current state, as they even included the OEM manuals for its new American owners. The dashboard uses simple, flowing lines and a logical layout. Everything is at hand and the dash is in good nick aside from two cracks by the heads-up display. The view of the road ahead is clear and this Majesta utilizes a sweet-looking floating digital gauge cluster that fits the era. The aforementioned heads-up display is a huge help in keeping an eye on the traffic as the speed displays digitally on the windscreen ahead so that you don't have to bury your eyes in the gauges. Dual SRS airbags are there as well, as standard equipment. This model also includes a digital automatic climate control system as standard equipment. The A/C components are there but there is a leak of some sort currently, as such the A/C is not blowing cold constantly. The Crown has an interesting gimmick on hand for airflow, and with a click of a button, the center climate vents begin to oscillate back and forth to distribute the airflow throughout the cabin. The climate screen is no longer working so you must use the automatic function to use these heating and cooling controls and is operational in the auto setting. The audio system is also controlled by the same screen. It does work but you are flying blind so the dealership recommends throwing in a US head unit on the cheap. Power equipment is everywhere and includes functioning electrical locks, windows, and power-folding mirrors. Uncommon during the time were the dual power front seats and electric steering column found on our Toyota. It even has power adjustable lumbar for those long cruises. The gray cloth seats are nearly immaculate and lack any major imperfections such as rips, stains, or tears. The headliner and door cards also have been cared for and the carpets only note light staining. The center console is larger than the average Japanese sedan which can also be said about the cavernous trunk making this steed ideal for long journeys and road-tripping.

Under the long sculpted bonnet is a silky smooth and serviceable 2JZ-GE. The 3.0L mill is fresh off an oil and filter service and fires up quickly with a twist of the key. A new engine air filter works to maximize power and fuel efficiency and won't need to be replaced for quite a while to come. The VVT-i technology that Toyota advanced later in the decade is actually present on this engine, which was uncommon in '95 for the brand. Torque is sent rearward through a slick-shifting automatic transmission. Acceleration is linear and smooth as it should be and the suspension gobbles up most any pothole, large or small. The long-wheelbase makes it feel especially stable at speeds and this sedan eats up miles on the highway. The brakes feel confident and our trained technicians have replaced the leaky old power steering pump with a new one. The result is light articulation making this barge much easier to park. The factory silver alloys are all wrapped in new tires at all four corners. These all-season units quiet the ride down immeasurably, deliver plenty of year-round grip, and should last for tens of thousands of miles.
