There's no denying the dashing good looks, performance, and every day capabilities of Nissan's famed R33 platform. As we reach the tail end of the model's production cycle, there are luckily still a healthy amount of examples in circulation for those who wish to save some coin over the price-inflated, inbound R34 models. Take this 1995 for example, wearing a fresh coat of Midnight Purple (LP2) paint, a GTR style front bumper, and dashing 18" Stage Knight wheels, there's plenty of good looks to go around with this one. Additional exterior touches to this sleek GTS25-t include factory side skirts, rear bumper spats, and a tasteful mid-rise rear spoiler. With no major imperfections to note on the exterior save for a few light blemishes, and a prior replacement of the right front fender, this chassis would make a fantastic Cars and Coffee cruiser, weekend canyon carver, or daily driver if you so desire. With 118k verified/documented miles on the clock, this one is ready for the care of its eager new owner for a fruitful new life stateside. Enthusiasts, common folk, and Nissan die-hards will agree, this Skyline is nothing less than a true Japanese Classic.

For those familiar with the prior R32's cockpit, the R33 Skyline essentially received a complete overhaul in terms of interior comfort, quality, and accessibility. Luckily, this one is in great shape, and was cared for in a prior life. The low-lying dash is trimmed in a soft touch black vinyl, and has held up well over the years, resisting any unwanted cracks, fading, or pesky UV damage over the years. The driver's seating position is quite comfortable, and an SRS-equipped steering wheel mounts atop a tilt-adjustable steering column. The center stack is trimmed in a complementary flat black. While the 25-year-old rubberized coating seems to have packed up and left town, the equipment it houses is still fully functional. While a bit dated, the Carrozzeria audio plays clearly throughout the cabin, and the easy to use digital automatic climate control is positioned directly above, with Cold A/C and hot heat rapidly accessible. The seats are finished in a velvety grey cloth, with no major imperfections to note, even after years of use. Even the rear seats offer up a bit of legroom for the little ones. As expected from a flagship sports coupe, power windows, power locks, and power mirrors work at the push of a button to make daily driving a bit easier. For the performance-oriented, an Apexi boost gauge sits atop the dash to help the driver keep an eye on their PSI's. The factory instrumentation reads clearly, although we must note the tachometer functions intermittently and the gas gauge has given up the ghost. While this is a typical failure point on these 33's, you can still keep an eye on that trip odometer! Overall, this cabin is truly in good nick, even down to the headliner and carpets, and if you can see past a missing factory spare and some wear to the factory steering wheel, the next owner should be more than satisfied with their selection.

Under the hood, Nissan's RB25DET is as good of an engine as any to go in this chassis, and with plenty of parts support, servicing options, and modification available stateside, it can be quite the reliable mill if maintained properly. Fortunately, our trained technicians have already performed an extensive list of services here in-house to give this one the green light for the road ahead. Starting with a freshly installed 12v battery, which was dropped in to properly test the alternator and ensure this one cranks over the first time, every time. By far the biggest piece of preventative maintenance done was a fresh timing belt and water pump, and with new spark plugs installed across the board, this one is more than ready for the road ahead. Lastly, to shore up the fuel system a bit, a new fuel pump and filter were installed to protect against contaminants. After a fresh oil and filter service, and a valve cover gasket buttoned up up top, she was ready to hit the road. Getting up to highway speeds is no tall order for this turbo six, especially with the smooth soundtrack of an Apexi catback behind you! Shifts through the 5 speed manual transmission are smooth and direct, and power is hammered down to the rear wheels without fault. The aftermarket coilovers cruise surprisingly well without being too aggressive, and new HICAS arms and ball joints were installed to confidently aid this one through demanding back road twists and turns. Additionally, we've replaced both front tension arms with new ones, and installed fresh brake pads all the way around to stop this one on a dime if needed. The power steering is light and on point, and we even wrapped the stylish Stage alloys in fresh Falken rubber. Not only do the tires quiet down any unwanted road noise, they'll deliver plenty of all-grip for tens of thousands of fun-filled miles to come!
