1995 Nissan Laurel Medalist Turbo

Stock #6212

Nissan's C34 Laurel has a tendency to fly under the radar, which is surprising, because when you mash the throttle this turbocharged saloon really flies! Our 1995 Medalist Turbo is a great unit, and a fantastic entry point into turbo RB ownership. Finished in Black Pearl (2R0) and accented by an OEM rear spoiler and refinished Volk 16" Racing EMU alloys, this Laurel is easy on the eyes and hasn't seen too much wear and tear outside of a replacement rear bumper noted in our Japanese records. The 66k miles on the clock certainly don't hurt either, as they're verified and documented. For a daily commuter, garage queen, or road trip weapon, this Laurel does it all and looks good doing it. Easy to own, modify, and frugal to operate, this C34 is an unassuming Japanese Classic that delivers time and time again.

The interior is well appointed, trimmed in a plush grey cloth, and features back to basics styling, and a decent handful of power amenities to make daily driving a breeze in the 21st century. The driver benefits from power adjustable seating and a tilt adjustable steering column. An SRS airbag is also equipped in the factory steering wheel for a bit of added on-road safety. The seating surfaces are all in good nick, and the headliner, carpets, and door card inserts are in above average shape as well. The dash is set off by woodgrain accents, and the center stack nicely integrates an easy to use digital climate control system and period-correct Kenwood audio. Both work as expected, with the former doling out cold A/C and hot heat at a moments notice. All four power windows work as advertised, and the power locks and electric folding side mirrors do too. The rear bench fits three additional passengers, and the trunk has ample space for storing extra cargo. Overall, it's really hard to pick apart this cabin. Everything works, there's no glaring defects outside of some cracks in the center stack, and it's comfortable and cozy even on longer hauls. We've even retained the original carpet mats to keep your floors free of unwanted spills and stains!

Reserved in both exterior and interior styling, the RB25DET under the bonnet is anything but! The same potent mill seen in the R33 Skyline GTS25-T, keen enthusiasts know this RB's potential is limitless, and our trained technicians have given this one a thorough once-over to get you ready for the road ahead. To start, a new 12v battery was installed and we also performed our standard oil and filter service. We also dropped in a new engine air filter and spark plugs so this 2.5T runs right as rain. The RB zips up to highway speeds with haste and the automatic gearbox does a fine job at throwing power rearward. New front and rear shocks keep the handling and ride comfort in check, and we replaced both front tension arms so the Laurel could pass VA state safety inspection with flying colors. The power steering is nicely weighted and easy to articulate, the brakes clamp down with force, and we wrapped the alloys in fresh all-season rubber, sure to deliver plenty of reliable grip for tens of thousands of miles to come!
