The Land Cruiser model line has a special spot in the heart of any die-hard off-road enthusiast. Durable, capable, and practical, these dashing 70 series models also feature some striking styling, too! This 1995 EX is a turn-key example, fresh off a recent service here stateside. Offered with a mere 106k verified and documented miles, this dashing Toyota is equipped with a manual gearbox, optional rear locker, and several cosmetic upgrades. Finished in a Dark Emerald Pearl over Oyster Pearl two-tone (26Z) this turbo diesel truck is set off by a rear bumper bar, polished factory push bar, OEM rear tire carrier, factory rainguards, and a set of refinished OEM alloys. As a daily driver, winter trail warrior, or collectible family hauler, this Japanese Classic is hard to beat!

The cabin is in above average condition and was obviously cared for in a prior life. The view of the road ahead is clear and commanding. Most of these 78 series trucks have cracked dashboards but this one is lacking any major imperfections. In the center, a modern Panasonic head unit supplies tunes to the cabin.  For those who live in more seasonal climate, A/C and heat are a turn of the dial away. The driver benefits from a tilt adjustable column, lumbar support, and power locks and mirrors. Power windows and an OEM electric sunroof are great for those wanting a light breeze and work like a charm. The seats are in above-average condition and are upholstered in a soft blue and gray cloth. They lack any major rips, stains, or tears and this example even includes the highly desirable third row. The carpets, door cards, and headliners have withstood the past quarter century without sustaining major abuse and the next owner will surely be impressed with the state of the cabin.

The simple, body on-frame platform is a reason why these things have lasted forever. The 3.0L turbo diesel is fresh off an oil and filter service and turns over promptly thanks to two new 12v batteries. A new fuel filter was also installed and the four-banger feels strong as an ox. It's mated to real-deal five speed gearbox, which gives the driver way more control over the platform than your conventional slushbox. If the going gets tough, 4WD and be engaged. If you run into some nasty snow or sand, a rear locker can be deployed as well as low 4WD. The big ute sails up to highway speeds and is quite peppy around town too! We've even rebuilt the front left hub to shore up the drivetrain for the road ahead. The suspension is predictable and offer tons of ground clearance. The brakes feel tidy as can be expected from a truck and the power steering is light and easy to articulate. The wheels are even wrapped in new all terrain rubber that will last for a while and looks mean as heck!
