Without a question of doubt, the most iconic car to ever come out of Japan in the 1990's is the JZA80 Toyota Supra. This car has built a reputation over the last 25 years as being not only one of the most beautiful cars of the era while being mechanically bulletproof. This 1994 SZ model has just arrived at our showroom and is in remarkable shape. Touching down with only 44K Verified miles it's evident the previous owner was just as aware of what he had as we did. Finished in Toyota's Polar Silver (199) paint has a ton of depth and luster; pictures truly don't do this car justice. The body is extremely straight showing virtually no dents, dings, or damage. While mostly stock bodied there have been a few upgrades over the years. The Do Luck front bumper sets off the front end and compliments the factory lines quite well. The headlights are brand new OEM Kouki units with really pops off the silver hue. Outback is a TRD style wing which is an awesomely aggressive take on the trademark original one. Rounding out the bodywork are the optional side skirts and rear spats that really seal the deal. Combine all of that with a set of mesh 19" Rays Engineering ITC Sebring Wheels and this Supra looks just as good as it drives!

The interior has been cared for with the same high standards. Largely all original it has had a few small additions made. Most noticeably the dash, center console, and all of the trim have been hydro dipped in carbon fiber to bring a sportier feel to the cockpit. Overall it looks like the job was rather well done, and unlike vinyl doesn't have the same edges or peeling. Chrome trim rings also help with the transition of the carbon onto the stock plastics. An aftermarket radio was fitted which currently is not powered so we weren't able to check the speakers. Otherwise, everything has been left untouched and in great condition. Both driver and passenger seats are free of any noticeable wear or tear and the carpets have been kept stain free. The back seat in all of the JZA80's are leather which adds a great level of resilience since its really only large enough to be used for additional storage. The cockpit is very well laid out with all of the pertinent switches and information is easily within reach of the driver. Fitted with all the modern power accessories of the time; power windows, mirrors, and automatic climate control. As with most Toyota's, all of the accessories are functioning properly and the A/C is blowing cold for some of these unseasonably warm winter days.

Under the hood is one of the most robust motors Toyota has developed to date, the 2JZ-GE. Because of it's wide variety of applications this is one of the easiest motors to maintain here in the states. You could literally take this to your local Lexus/Toyota dealer to have it serviced if you wanted. The 2J fires right up and has that silky smooth idle that these are known for. Mechanically the MKIV has been kept all stock, even down to the airbox and exhaust. It does have some optional bits that would have been found on the more powerful models like the Bilstein shocks and lowering springs. The brakes have also been upgraded to the turbo factory brakes with slotted rotors to quickly bring this sports coupe to a halt. The power delivery is great in these, despite not being the more powerful twin turbo model. The GE cars are no slouch making great midrange torque and still returning decent fuel economy. The 4 speed automatic quickly engages and easily runs through the gears with little hesitation. The auto cars bring a lot to the table that many never think about. Aside from the easier to swallow entry price; they typically live easier lives which means you wind up getting a better-maintained vehicle. Of course, for those looking to make big power, this would be an ideal candidate for a GTE swap since its essentially plug and play. When you consider the cost difference between this and a factory TT car it's a no brainer. This one came in having been well cared for and only needed minor servicing. The radiator had a pinhole leak so we replaced that and the timing belt had already been replaced just 7,500 miles ago. It's already hard to find a 25 year old car that has been maintained as well as this one, let alone on a platform like this. This MKIV truly is a Japanese Classic that will never go out of style.
