Stock #6333For those who want G-Wagen steeze without the financial squeeze, Toyota has the perfect solution! This 1994 Land Cruiser Prado is a fan favorite here at the dealership for its boxy styling, durable turbodiesel drivetrain, and ease of drivability. Finished in a one-off Spitfire Silver, the bad boy looks are set off by an imposing front brushguard, a 2" lift, and Raguna ZZYZX alloys. It's quite the looker too, although we wanted to note the front bumper was marked replaced in Japan. Still, at 126k verified and documented miles she's no worse for the wear and the cosmetics indicate this one was well cared for in a prior life. Useful off-road, and a show stopper on it, this SUV is a textbook Japanese Classic! Equally as impressive on the inside, the three spacious rows of seating and diamond stitched leather seat covers steal the show. It's also in above average shape overall, with no major defects to the upholstery apart from some typical nicks in the door cards. The center stack has been modernized with a touch screen Kenwood headunit, and Bluetooth audio plays your tunes at above average quality through some upgraded door speakers. Adjacent to the infotainment, a simple to use climate control system doles out cold A/C and hot heat on command for seasonal cruising! A Nardi woodgrain steering wheel is affixed to a tilt adjustable steering column and feels nicer in the palm overall. For daily use, a full slate of power amenities makes driving easy. Power windows, locks, and an optional electric moonroof work like a charm, although the mirrors no longer power adjust. The middle bench can stow forward if more cargo space is required, and the third row can deploy from the D-pillars to accommodate three additional passengers. Overall the cabin is in wonderful shape. The third row doesn't match the custom upholstery, but that's truly nitpicking on a cabin of this vintage. We love the 1KZ-TE under the hood for a lot of reasons. It's dependable, easy to work on, and returns surprisingly good fuel economy in a truck of this stature. Ours cranks over swiftly with 2 new 12v batteries, and it settles into a smooth idle thanks to an oil and filter service, and a new engine air filter and fuel filter. A new valve cover gasket keeps your lubricant internal, and we also changed out the half moon seals to complete the job. These 3.0D's are torquey down low and efficient to operate on the highway too. An automatic gearbox sends power rearward, and 4WD can be engaged when the going gets tough. A pricy and beneficial service on these old cruisers, we rebuilt both front hubs with new bearings and seals, and new rear shocks and trailing arm bushings help keep the drivetrain compliant. This truck steers easily, is comfortable over large road imperfection, and stops well to boot. We even wrapped the multipiece alloys in fresh Mud Terrains, perfect for your next journey off the beaten path!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
