What's not to love about a clean S14? Long flowing bodywork, a proper RWD, 3 pedal, turbo, sports coupe. Our 1994 has had several key upgrades done in order to take an already good chassis and make it great. Building upon the factory lines a full Origin Labo Racing wide body kit was fitted. And not the typical Zenki kit for the year, but a Kouki conversion no less. The FRP kit definitely gives the car the lower look that it should have had from the factory. And the 75mm fenders are a radical change from the stock ones giving the car a menacing stance. Massive 18" x 9.5" -17 326 Power Yaba King wheels were employed to fill up the giant wheel wells. A matching set of lime green 326 Power lugs really pop off the matte black. A set of adjustable coilovers get the overall height dialed down to a more acceptable level and help keep the car planted. Originally leaving the factory in Blue Emerald Green (FN2) it has since undergone a full-color swap. If you weren't looking at the build plate then you have never known it wasn't originally Charcoal Gray Metallic (KH2). Obviously, since the car has been repainted it's in great condition. While there are a few blemishes in the fiberglass due to the nature of it, but generally speaking, it all looks great. Even the Origin Labo vented FRP hood matches up with the bodylines well and has a sleek set of hood pins.

Like all S14's, the interior is simple and clean. Skinny A-pillars produce copious amounts of visibility, and the driver has plenty of room to get settled in behind the wheel. Once you nestle down into the Bride Brix adjustable driver's seat, the driver is well supported and will stay snug in the twisties. The material is in good shape, however, there is some bolster wear from getting in and out that is covered by a Bride patch. The remaining OEM seats are all in fantastic condition. And unlike many of the built cars we see, it does still have the full interior still, with the back seats looking like they've never really had any seat time. The dash is in great condition and has no major sun damage or cracks which is becoming a more common issue on S14's. A much Sportier Momo wheel replaces the stock one and fits the feel of the car much better. All of the rest of the interior has been retained and in good condition. It still has all of the power accessories like the windows, mirrors, locks and automatic climate control. Keeping it comfortable enough to daily drive, yet with an aggressive tone that turns heads everywhere.

The SR20DET was redesigned for the S14 featuring a larger T28 turbo and VCT. This example has been lightly modified to match the aggressive attitude it exudes. Some bolts ons help the SR breathe a bit better like the HPI front mount intercooler, Airinx Intake, and a full-on straight pipe. A polished high flow resonator was added to try and help tame down the note a bit, but be aware, this one is loud. Boost levels have been left stock for reliability and it only takes one drive to instantly put a smile on your face. Not only does it sound great but it drives excellent as well. Acceleration is quick under throttle, yet surprisingly docile around town. With 138K verified miles the SR20DET has been well maintained and its shows. The engine fires up quickly, idles smooth, and rockets to life under boost. Shifts through the 5 speed transmission are smooth without and grinds. The clutch feels proper and does not slip in any driving conditions. Our trained technicians have thoroughly inspected this vehicle and have performed quite a bit of maintenance. Replacement outer tie rods, a new radiator, four new tires, a replacement thermostat, and a routine oil change. This car was clearly built to be driven, and we know that's just what we're all looking for. A turn-key car that can easily be taken to the track or give you a sound platform to build off of. All it's missing is someone to break in the new rubber.
