Sporty, spacious, economically efficient, and reliable, the Nissan Primera fits that description perfectly even more so when it's the rare Autech version. This lightly modified SR-powered HP10 is sporting an Autech spoiler, Tommy Kaira lip, and 15" Gunmetal Gray Prorally Panasport Fortune wheels. Finished in Super Black (KH3) the exterior is in good shape, other than some minor dings, chips, and scuffs that come with normal use. A notable repair in Japan is the roof skin being repaired or replaced. While the mileage is unknown and unverified this Primera is a great option for daily driving or as a weekend cruiser that the new owner will be sure to have fun in.

Inside the spacious cabin, that can comfortably seat 5, the gray cloth seats lack any major rips, stains, or tears and are soft to the touch. The door cards are in good nick along with the headliner which shows no sign of peeling or stains. The dash has no sign of bubbling, cracks, or major UV damage from its prior life in Japan. Making the cabin more comfortable is the automatic climate control setting, blowing cold a/c or hot heat. The driver will be gripping the leather-wrapped Sparco steering wheel and leather shifter, but have ease of access to all the power amenities being offered. Power locks, power windows, power mirrors, and the Kenwood head unit are all functioning, but would like to state that the retractable mirror function is not operating correctly. Inside the trunk, a spare tire and jack stand will be found in their prospective locations hidden from plain view.

The compact sedan is a blast to drive at the limit and offers some of the best FWD handling out there. The aftermarket limited-slip differential is aggressive for daily use, but boy does it allow this little Nissan to power through a turn. Powering the front wheels of the Primera is the SR20DE four-banger. The 1998cc mill is fresh off an oil and filter service and starts up promptly thanks to a new 12v battery. A new engine air filter maximizes horsepower and the K&N sounds great under throttle. While in the shop we installed a new head gasket and valve stem seals so that this thing could be used daily with some peace of mind. As you'd expect, a new water pump was installed which will save plenty of money rather than doing the job yourself, and we even replaced the clutch! To keep the accessories powered, a new alternator was chucked in and the 1998cc mill runs like a top now! The same can be said for the five-speed which is fresh off a fluid flush. Running through the gears is a blast and they lack any grinding or other drivability issues. The sedan is quick to accelerate and is comfortable cruising at highway speeds. Be advised that the performance oriented differential makes tons of noise at low speeds and pops a bit while turning. Making the car handle great are the KYB struts with RSR lowering springs, Cusco top hats on the front struts, and new CV axles. New wheel bearings, new brake pads, new rotors, and new calipers help in being able to slow down or come to a complete stop. A fresh alignment was done as well, aiding in a smoother ride. Not many Nissan Primera Autech versions are available but this one is ready to roll off our lot and into your driveway!
