Honda offered a lot of desirable models that were never offered for sale here in the US of A. Ironically, even models that were built in the US and shipped to japan, like this undeniably cool Accord SiR. The Japanese only models included a host of upgrades over the more dull USDM counterparts like black housing headlights, optional OEM fog lights, and a powerful H22A VTEC engine. Combined with a lower stance this Accord is unique, reliable, and fun to drive. This 1994 Honda Accord SiR has a mere 90k verified and documented miles, and is finished in Honda's stunning Bordeaux Red Pearl (R-78P). The body is in great shape aside from a few minor scuffs and rock chips from being driven over the years. The SiR delivers an exciting driving experience with a punchy engine under the bonnet and proven reliability to back it up. Aside from the 17" multispoke alloy wheels and lowered suspension, this coupe has remained mostly unmodified. Fresh off a recent service, this Accord SiR delivers a sporty, exhilarating, and comfortable experience behind the wheel!
The interior is spacious and tidy. It is obvious that the interior was well taken care of by the previous owner, and it shows. The soft gray cloth seats are intact with minimal bolster wear, and the dash has no cracking or major UV damage. The carpet below has held up well over the years with no major stains, rips, or tears. The headliner shows no sagging above, and the passengers benefit from the electric sunroof for sunlight and fresh air. Although the driver-side door card shows minor UV damage on the top, they are in great condition overall. The SiR is well equipped with Japanese only automatic digital climate control for one-touch settings, offering cold A/C and scorching heat with the press of a button. The previous owner ditched the factory audio and replaced it with a Carrozzeria head unit and alpine speakers, a nice upgrade. The driver benefits from an SRS airbag for added peace of mind. The electric windows, locks, and mirror adjustments are in working order to ensure the passengers are comfortable when commuting. The power-folding mirrors are great for city parking and tight parking situations to ensure no one bumps into them. Powered by Honda's H22A DOHC VTEC 2.2l 4 cylinder engine you won't have an issue getting up to highway speeds or overtaking slower traffic. Fresh off a recent oil and filter service and a new 12v battery the engine fires to life immediately. The engine breathes easily with a new air filter to maximize the H22's potential. Our trained technicians decided to replace the valve cover gasket upon inspection to ensure peace of mind for the next owner. Maintenance is easy and affordable since the engine was offered here in the US. Whether you prefer to work on your car or prefer the dealership, parts are readily available. The previous owner replaced the OEM exhaust with a custom setup that adds a notable growl under load. The factory suspension was ditched for a set of adjustable coilovers which reduces body roll and lowers the center of gravity. The front inner axle boots were replaced during our inspection process as well. A set of 17" multi-spoke wheels replaced the factory wheels and are wrapped in a new set of Falken tires.
