A Japanese Classics, we import over four hundred unique JDM cars and trucks annually. Call it an occupational hazard, but it takes a lot for a car to pique our interest at this point when you feel like you've seen it all. This 1994 Honda Accord wagon is the exception to this, with its wild one-off aero and striking silhouette. Offered with only 72K verified miles it's finished in a sleek Dark Emerald Green. The body is in good shape other than the normal dings and chips associated with normal use. Lowered on adjustable suspension with LED exterior lights, shaved spoiler, 19" rolling stock, this stunning car provides a diverse platform that can be used for anything such as daily driving, grocery getting, or a full-on show car.
The interior of the wagon has space for five adults and their cargo. An adjustable column is mounted for all drivers to get comfy behind the wheel and the Honda has functional power-folding mirrors, as well as power windows and locks. The dash is in good shape and contrasts nicely against the charcoal door cards and tan leather seat covers. The headliner is properly upholstered and a ton of natural light filters into the cabin through the sunroof. Rear privacy tint keeps prying eyes away from the cabin and works to protect the interior plastics and reduce interior temperatures. The digital climate is standard and works as it should, and the buttons are large and easy to read. The interior isn't perfect as there are some issues with some of the plastics around the center console and shifter that have some poor fitment. There is also some interior vinyl that is shrinking due to heat noted around the cabin. The audio isn't functioning currently but is comprised of some expensive Diamond audio components.
Owing a JDM CE-1 is a seamless as can be, as it was built here in the good ole' USA. Powered by the F22B, Hondas renowned 2.2L four-cylinder. The Accord boasts killer fuel economy and inexpensive repair parts for down the road. Fresh off a semi-synthetic oil and filter service, the engine turns over happily care of a newly installed 12V battery. The idle is smooth and a sportier exhaust note emits from the custom dual GD Meistier pipes. Mated to an automatic transmission, power is sent to the front wheels in typical Honda fashion. The shifts are smooth, and the wagon has no issues getting up to and above US highway speeds. The adjustable suspension delivers a much better ride than most VIP style cars we retail, but it is noticeably firmer than stock. A rear camber kit aids fitment a bit, and the car only rubs a bit under heavy compression. The brakes and power steering feel like any other Accord, the Accord sports new all-season tires mounted on Riverside TrafficStar wheels. The large polished lips tuck perfectly into the fender wells, completing the aesthetic.
