You could call a bunch of Land Cruisers "classic" and the 80 series certainly fits the bill. It's hard to believe these are 30 years old, as they drive like a modern SUV. This 1993 VX Limited is finished in an upscale Dark Emerald Pearl (6M1) and offered with a mere 166k verified and documented miles. Turn-key and ready to roll, this big SUV is fresh off a service in our shop. Aside from a few dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use, the paint is in average shape, and the Cruiser is set off by some OEM rainguards, privacy tint, and a polished OEM brushguard. Reliable, refined, and spacious this three-row Toyota would be a great choice for a daily driver, weekend cruiser, or family hauler that can take you just about everywhere!

The cabin is well equipped and has plenty of room for seven adults. As this was one of the top trim levels, there is impressive equipment. The optional power sunroof lets in plenty of natural light and adds some ventilation. For those who plan to daily drive, the electric mirrors, locks, and windows all work as advertised except the power-folding function of the side mirrors. A Nardi leather wrapped wheel replaced the OEM one, and although it has some wear, it looks modern and sporty. The seats are in good shape too, and are upholstered in a soft contrasting alcantara. The cloth lacks any major rips, stains, or tears, and the driver benefits from electric lumbar support. The third row is rare and desirable. The two seats also split-fold and can be stowed against the D-pillar in case you have some cargo that's on the larger side. The door cards, carpets and headliner are in good shape and have resisted major abuse over the years. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as we wanted to note the OEM coolbox center console doesn't blow cold and neither does the A/C. The good news is all the components are there and an A/C shop should be able to get it straight. We also wanted to mention there is no head unit installed. Still at 30 years old this thing has held up well, and the next owner will surely agree. Even the JDM owners manuals are included in the sale!

These gas-powered Land Cruisers offer the most seamless ownership experience of almost any JDM import. The legendary 1FZ-FE inline-six, which is the same sump found in our stateside examples, and is built for longevity. It's also very smooth, like most straight six's. This one is fresh off oil and filter service and starts up with the twist of the key. While it was up on the lift we resealed the oil pan to fix a leak and also replaced the serpentine belts. The 1FZ is mated to a slick-shifting automatic gearbox. The LC does a good job keeping up with traffic and it moves quite well despite its size. The driveline was refreshed too, and one of our trained techs replaced the right rear axle seal and rebuilt the passenger side front hub. She rides much better now and the surefooted 4WD system is great to have for year-round use. The system also has a low gear setting and automatic locking center differential for those who might encounter some rough weather or loose surfaces. The brakes feel confident and the power-assisted steering makes parking a snap. The aftermarket alloys are wrapped in nearly new tires and we went ahead and replaced the spare tire with a new one before the car was sent to its state safety inspection.
