The 80 Series Cruisers receive high marks for reliability and civility, all while being able to tackle some of the worst road conditions you can throw at it. This 1993 Toyota is offered with only 136K verified miles and has been redone in a striking, custom Monaco Blue Metallic. Shod with a 3" lift, new Falken tires, and a great mix of OEM and aftermarket options; this Land Cruiser is the real deal.

The interior of the LC has tons of upgrades and power amenities, making this one of the most comfortable cabins of any vehicle we have retailed. There is an abundance of room and the tall driving position lends itself to a commanding view of the roadway ahead. A Pioneer Bluetooth equipped head unit and the wood grain steering wheel adds a bit of flair to the interior. Also, note the expensive Clazzio leather seat covers that wrap around the front buckets and protect the rear row. The leather is in good nick and doesn't have any large rips stains or tears. The fitment is so good its nearly indistinguishable that these are covers and not OEM leather. The steering column adjusts for drivers large and small and to the right of the wheel, there is a stalk to access the factory cruise control, a rare option. VX Limited 80s also have an option for a power sunroof and CoolBox center console drink cooler. Both are included in our example for days when you'd rather enjoy the fresh air than using the functional A/C. The OEM rain guards do a fine job of reducing wind noise within the cabin as well. Since this was originally a third-row model, it has a dedicated rear climate system and rear sliding glass. Privacy tint keeps temps down further and protects the interior plastics against weather-related fading. The headliner is still tightly upholstered and the carpets have been cared for over the years. Even the owner's manual is located in the glovebox still!

The driveline is identical to US versions, and the inline 6 cylinder motor is a real gem. The 1FZ-FE displaces 4.5L and in nearly vibration-free when running. A fresh engine oil and filter service ensure no maintenance is required for the next 3000 miles. Power is sent to all four wheels through a selective, but full-time, 4WD system. Acceleration is linear and the massive truck hurls up to, and above, US interstate speeds with ease. There is a deeper bark from the custom exhaust, and it sounds surprisingly good and matches the personality of this special Land Cruiser. The lift adds a few inches of clearance, yet the platform doesn't feel too floaty despite its size. A polished Suntrex tow bar sits below the rear bumper would be a good match for a set of jet skis and matches the polished LED tail light accents as well. The brakes are able to stop the truck down just fine and the steering is nicely weighted and power-assisted. The optional center locking differential (K295) is paired to front and rear limited-slip differentials if the going gets tough. Thankfully, our techs have mounted new 35" Falken all-terrain tires wrap around Mickey Thompson alloys and provide plenty of grip in a plethora of weather conditions.
