The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is a spacious, quality-built cab over-frame SUV that's well suited for daily use, a weekend cruiser, or even a unique overlander build sure to be the envy of other trail goers. Toyota's brutish SUV gained popularity worldwide but was unfortunately never offered to the North American market when new. It's no surprise that it's one of the most popular vehicles we sell, and for good reason, with its work horse turbo diesel engine, and capable 4WD system. This 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado EX is boasting only 136k verified and documented miles, just barely broken in for a turbo diesel Toyota. Finished in a One-Off Black, the exterior is in good shape overall showing only minor dings and chips from regular daily use. While the paint quality isn't show car status, it does the job and looks fine doing it. Sitting on OEM suspension and 16" Alloy wheels this Prado is ready to hit the trails or weekend getaways. The OEM rain guards are in good shape and allow for some natural ventilation when it's pouring outside. The amber lights along with the chrome bumper, grille, mirrors, and door handles make the black finish pop. This iconic SUV is fresh off a recent service and ready for whatever adventure you can throw at it!

Inside you'll find a tidy cabin with plenty of space for family, friends, and all the gear you might need too. The climate control works great and is ready to supply cold A/C or hot heat keeping the occupants comfortable. The dashboard does have a small circular crack about the size of a quarter and a patch, but is otherwise in good shape. Overhead is an electric sunroof that works like a charm and provides additional natural light or fresh air to the cabin on nice days. The tall seating positions allow you to see above traffic and easily navigate the highway or the trails The gray upholstered seats, provide plenty of comfort and provide seating for five. Although to be expected from a 25+-year-old SUV the seating is not in perfect condition showing some minor fading, stains, and bolster wear. Steering this large-sized rig, the driver will be gripping the wooden Nardi Torino steering wheel which is in above average shape, lacking cracks or chips in the wood. Power windows, power locks, and power mirrors work as advertised making daily driving a breeze. Lastly, the upgraded Addzest head unit is not functional, but you can easily swap it out with a modern head unit at the stereo shop of your choice.

This Prado is powered by the prized and reliable 1KZ-TE turbo diesel engine. The body on frame SUV may seem as if would be a slow-moving vehicle but surprisingly it’s quite quick for its size. The turbo spools quickly forcing addtional air into the engine, and powers all four wheels. Getting up to merging speeds or overtaking isn't an issue and sustained highway speeds are no problem for long road trips. The 3.0L turns over effortlessly thanks to the new 12V battery and fresh oil and filter service conducted by our trained techs. Equipped with a smooth-shifting automatic transmission and a selective transfer case the driver can interchange between 2WD, 4WD, or even a lower gear setting for less than ideal road conditions. A 2" lift was installed in Japan and for the off-road enthusiast as well as the electronic hub locks which work like a charm. New left trailing arm bushings, and 4 new shocks were installed by our trained technicians to make sure the ride is comfortable on or off road. The steering is light and makes city parking a breeze. All four wheels received new mounted and balanced Falken A/T tires, that should last for years to come and provide superior grip on most any surface. A new set of front brake pads were installed allowing the Prado to come to a stop quickly and a fresh alignment was performed to keep this Prado tracking straight.
