We just got in this beautiful classic Mini which has all of the modern day luxuries mixed with the classic Mini styling. This particular Rover is a '93 with only 42K miles. Finished in a fantastic Sapphire Blue really set the car off. This Mayfair edition sports a larger engine, and better factory options than your standard MINI. The Cooper iconic design shines, with its bulldog stance and Classic exterior two box design. Unlike the UK examples, which are typically higher mileage with more corrosion, this one has no major rust because it comes from the land of the Rising Sun. Our blue car has new, upgraded body matched wheel arches unlike the more traditional, cracked charcoal ones sold on most standard spec cars. The paint has been very well maintained over the years and has no notable blemishes. The body is straight and well preserved, the only minor issue is a small dent by the passenger fender turn signal. No paint was damaged in the area so a little PDR should be an easy fix.

The interior is what you would expect from a car with such low miles. Extremely clean and very little wear and signs of use. The dash is quite modern compared to the original design and has A/C vents, a radio, and even a small glove box! The steering wheel is the larger, and grippier than an older Cooper, which makes it easier to drive since all coopers lack power steering. The seats and door panels are in the same condition showing little wear. Note: there is a small hole the size of a pea on the drivers seat bottom. The neat thing about the Mayfair Edition is that it comes with more interior storage in the form of door pockets, and two additional vented rear windows to aid air circulation. The suspension, although simple, is in good condition and doesn't rattle or squeak. The car handles incredibly well, after all, this car is a go kart for the street.

Mechanically the desirable 1275 engine starts right up and drives very well. The 1.3L mill whirs to life, and is a nice upgrade over the standard 998cc motor. The car features a rare, Rs*r , polished center exhaust. It produces a low burble, in line with the little cars sporting nature Unlike most carburated minis. this car actually features Electronic Fuel Injection, so cold starts are easier and there in no need for a manual choke. The automatic transmissions Rover used in these are simple, and although it lacks the refinement and sophistication of new automatic transmissions, it shifts well and drives excellent. There are no known mechanical issues save for a MINOR oil leaks, which are common on these older Coopers. Overall what more could you ask for in such a pint sized packaged!
