For the discerning Skyline enthusiast, getting behind the wheel of an R33 makes a lot of sense. It's a smarter buy over the prior R32 in terms of power and refinement, and you'll save a boatload over the subsequent R34's astronomical market value. Our 1993 is a terrific first-year example of the chassis that does it all, and this one is finished in a sleek coat of Black Pearl (KH3). Accented by a factory aero front bumper, mid-rise rear spoiler, aftermarket catback exhaust, and a tasteful set of 18" Altia N1-EX alloys. The exterior shows well, however, we wanted to note a prior replacement of the hood and right rocker from Japan. With no major defects outside of a few age-related chips and paint scuffs here and there, we think this Skyline will suit its next owner nicely regardless. Fresh off a recent service, this turn key coupe is offered with a mere 63k verified and documented miles on the clock. Comfortable, quick, and easy on the eyes, the R33 is the definition of a true Japanese Classic.

Much like the exterior, the interior has withstood the past 30 years on the road with no major battle scars to note. Compared to the 32 before it, the R33's upholstery is a welcome upgrade, with the patterned cloth remaining soft to the touch with no huge defects outside of an expected prior repair on the driver's bolster. The headliner, carpets, and matching door card inserts show well to boot, and the sweeping vinyl dash is in average shape outside of some separation around the passenger defrost vent and a crack atop the gauge hood. The center stack has resisted any serious wear and tear, and a centrally mounted Pioneer headunit sits adjacent to an easy-to-use digital automatic climate control display. Still in good working order, cold A/C and hot heat can be primed at the push of a button if you choose to utilize this coupe year-round. Power windows, power mirrors, and power locks work as advertised, other than the electric folding function of the side mirrors, which no longer operates. The driver additionally benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column to lock in the most comfortable driving position and there is loads of headroom for taller drivers and passengers. The damage-prone factory wheel has been replaced with a sleeker Sparco unit which feels much nicer in the palm overall as does the Tomei shift knob. The rear bench is no worse for the wear, and if you can see past some age-related UV cracking and wear and missing trim on the rear parcel shelf, this cabin should be a comfortable place for you and anyone fortunate enough to ride as a passenger. We also wanted to note the shift boot is flaking and the speakers require replacement as the sound quality is subpar. On the positive side, we've even retained the original carpeted floor mats, owners manuals, and maintenance booklet which are worthy pieces of history the next owner will enjoy!

Those who are fiscally savvy will instantly recognize the RB25DET under the bonnet as the best bang for your buck performance engine offered in these classic Nissans. Ours is fresh off a recent service and our trained technicians have given this one the green light for the road ahead. We replaced the rear-mounted Japanese battery with a fresh US-spec unit and she cranks over every time without hesitation! A fresh oil and filter service was performed, and new valve cover gaskets were installed up top to seal this one against any unwanted leaks or seeps. A new PCV valve assists in maintaining smooth operation, and this RB scoots up to highway speeds in a jiffy, with the factory turbocharger delivering oodles of get-up-and-go when needed. Shifts through the 5-speed manual gearbox are smooth and precise, and power is hammered down to the rear wheels with ease. The new owner can rest assured knowing one of our trained techs has installed a new clutch, and now the driveline is right as rain! The suspension is predictable and doesn't beat you up too badly when behind the wheel, although it is a bit firmer than the factory setting. The brakes are tidy and direct, and do a swell job at reeling this one in from higher speeds if you catch a glimpse of the boys in blue. This legendary drivetrain would be nothing without a reliable set of rubber to keep it glued to the road, so we've mounted and balanced fresh Falkens all the way around to ensure you'll have plenty of grip for tens of thousands of miles to come!
