The R33 Sedan GTS25T marked a huge performance leap from its predecessor. A more rigid platform, improved interior fit and finish, along with a noticeable bump in power and displacement, make this chassis an incredible value. The exterior is finished in Nissan's unique two tone Light Grey/Silver (1N4) which is more commonly found its smaller S-chassis brethren. Mated to a manual transmission, this combo is rare, and looks timeless. At some point the vehicle has been resprayed but the paint is in good shape and is very glossy, and overall the body condition is fair. You don't have to feel bad about the parking this thing with the family at the grocery store, as it's a 25 year old vehicle, but its rewarding drive and convenient four-door layout are ideal for a daily.

The interior is what you would expect from a 54K mile verified car and is in excellent condition. The dash is free of any cracks or major sun damage. The seats, covered in a soft, gray executive cloth, are all in excellent condition showing only minor wear from normal use. The bolstering is nearly perfect, and this large powerful cruiser is comfortable for hours on the highway. The door panels are in great condition, and the headliner is clean and doesn't sag. The dash, unlike most R32s, is undistorted and crack free. The gauges all work flawlessly, and the radio and driver switch gear is all readily at hand. The OEM radio is powered and functional; all the speakers work as they should. Power folding mirrors, with rare OEM rain guards, pull in tightly to the body to prevent cyclists from careening into them. The one touch down window control is happy to oblige, if one prefers not to use the A/C, and the power locks are convenient versus the popular manual kind of this era.

Beauty is only skin deep, and the best part of this vehicle is under the bonnet. The power plant is the venerable RB25DET, which is famous for being not only reliable, but easy to tune. The turbocharged straight 6 fires up quickly and idles silky smooth, and provides a noticeable uptick in torque over the RB20DET it replaced. A new 12V battery was installed by one of our trained technicians, and can handle starts the coldest winters for years to come. Acceleration is powerful and brisk under boost, and shifts are smooth and hassle free thanks to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The drivetrain in unmodified and is devoid of any aftermarket additions. The OEM suspension is reassured and provides lots of ground clearance for real world driving. The brakes are capable, and clamp down quickly to slow this sports sedan down to a manageable speed. The mesh alloys look upscale and come wrapped in all new, all season rubber. Lastly an oil and filter service, and Virginia state safety inspection insure you will have thousands of hassle free miles ahead of you!

This 1993 example of the Skyline sedan is an instant Japanese Classic. Its well rounded nature, herculean drivetrain, reliability, and low cost of market entry make for an incredible value for a JDM ride!
