The S13 has been long known as the swiss army knife of coupes. It doesn't matter what you're looking for, this chassis can do it all, and well at that. Stanced out show car, drift missile, auto cross car, or daily driver, take your pick. This 1993 comes to us nearly completely stock and in great shape. Nissan's Super Black (KH3) is a classic color for this car and shows very well for it's age. The clear coat is in great shape with no signs of peeling or fading. The paint and body are both in overall great shape. However you can never get away from small imperfections like door dings and stone chips, but nothing out of the ordinary. The only deviation from the factory are the wheels. A set of white 15" OZ Racing Evo wheels were installed. The color contrast really stands out, especially in the side profile.

The cockpit of this hatchback model is in good shape overall, and has a couple of small changes from the factory. The original seats have been retained, and contrast their gray cloth against the black bodywork and interior trim nicely. The seats are generally good however there is one spot on the driver's side bolster (as noted in the photos.) A polished steering wheel and shift knob bring a bit of pop to the dark interior and are far more streamline than the chunky stock pieces. The door cards and front carpets are in fine shape. The rear seats hardly look like they have been used. As with all S chassis the dash does have it's standard crack, however to clean things up a custom dash mat was fitted. Unless you removed the mat nobody would ever even realize. The driver controls are all at arms reach, and the 180 has functioning power locks, folding powered mirrors, windows, and a digital automatic climate control.

Pop the hood and you'll find the iconic SR20DET. The Aluminum 2.0 liter has become an icon in the S Chassis world. Unlike all of the USDM models that have to undergo a transplant, the JDM spec vehicles came from the factory with the proper motor choice. With only 103K verified miles the two liter fires right up and is surprisingly quiet in stock trim. With the enormous amount of aftermarket support for the S13 you can easily change that out if you're looking for a deeper tone. The 5 speed shifts with ease and the clutch is very forgiving, it is communicative and nicely gated. The ride quality isn't harsh like most s chassis vehicles, as the suspension is OEM and unmolested. New rubber has been put on all four corners keeps the nimble two door balanced even in bad weather. Like all of our vehicles the maintenance has been brought up to date that way you can drop in and drive home. Between the stylish good looks and rewarding drive, its tough to match the S13's value. With clean, good running examples becoming more difficult to find every day, this 180sx really is the quintessential Japanese Classic.
