1993 Nissan Cedric Gran Turismo
We just got in one of the nicest luxury tourers of it's time, the Nissan Cedric. This particular Gran Turismo is a 1993 with only 68K miles. Finished in one of the most complimentary color options, Anthracite Gray (KK0.) The paint has been excellently maintained with no real blemishes to note. The body has been kept up just as well, free of any dents or dings. As one would imagine all of the panels line up nicely and are straight. The body has been kept all stock, it even has the original rain guards. The headlight bulbs have been upgraded to a more efficient 6k bulb which is noticeably better at night. The only other change up at the 16" RAYS Park Place Silver Arrow wheels. The wheels are in great shape and look great with the larger boxy styling of the Y32.
The interior has been kept all original and in excellent condition. The grey cloth has been preserved exceptionally well with no notable stains, rips, or tears. It looks as if the seats have never been sat in, which is hard to believe. The carpets and door panels tell the same story. Even the opera lighting in the B and C pillars are still functioning as they should. All of the power accessories in the Gran Turismo are operating properly; door locks, power windows, power folding mirrors, etc. The Automatic climate control does it's job, even though the Japanese buttons take some getting used to. The only change up to the interior was a pop out navigation system. Since the system is designed to function in Japan it will need to be replaced with a more US friendly unit for full radio functions.
Under the hood is no different than the rest of the car, but that's to be expected with one this clean. The 3.0 Liter VG30E fires right up and quietly idles along. The motor has ample torque low down and pulls strong on the highway. The suspension is well sorted and designed for gobbling up the miles in comfort. However unlike your traditional luxury sedan you don't feel like you're the captain of a boat. The transmission engages with ease and shifts smoothly as you climb through the rev range. The Y32 chassis really is one of the more versatile ones out there. It's body styling stands out with it's subtly making it an awesome daily. On the flip side a set of coilovers and wheels will instantly transform the looks (if you don't believe us just take a peak at some of our personal cars.) At the of the day it's hard to beat the big body luxury of the Cedric GT's.
