The interior of this Pajero is in wonderful shape, and surprisingly well equipped. For starters, getting in and out of the truck is easier than the four-door due to the door size and driver position. Whoever is at the helm has a commanding view of the road ahead. A gauge suite with a functional compass, altimeter, and thermometer sitting atop the dash, which is in wonderful nick. A dedicated dual-zone digital climate system works to deliver cold air conditing to the cabin on demand. If you prefer natural ventilation the power windows retract and the OEM rain guards keep wind noise to a minimum. A manual sunroof can tilt for additional cooling and rear privacy tint keeps away the harsh rays of the sun. The gray cloth seats are in above average shape, lacking major rips, stains, or tears. They are comfortable on long cruises and the rear row can fold all the way forward to maximize cargo capacity. The rear tailgate swings open with its side-mounted hinge and create a wide loading area for easy access. The headliner is in good shape, as are the door cards, and the carpets have been protected by the OEM mats which are included in the purchase. Even the original owner's manuals are still in the glove box and included in the sale!

The body on frame Pajero offers one spectacular driving experience, with its aforementioned modern interior, and its civil ride quality. Sure you'll get some light humming from the freshly installed oversized Falken Wilderness tires, but overall, it is good on long trips and reasonably comfortable. Powered by Mitusbishi legendary 4D56 four-cylinder, the little turbo diesel clatters to life with a twist of the key. Benefitting from a new 12V battery, engine air filter, and diesel-specific oil and filter service, she requires no major scheduled service for the next three thousand miles.
