We've been searching for quite some time now for another GC8 Impreza and the time has finally come! We just got in this 1993 with only 45K original miles on it. This car was obviously cherished by it's previous owner based on the way it's been maintained. The body has been kept in great shape with very few minor dents or dings to be found. The vehicle did undergo a full color change while still in Japan, the original color being Cardinal Red and has since been changed to World Rally Blue. The job was well done including all the door jambs and under the panels, with the engine bay being the only thing untouched. Otherwise the exterior has been left all original. It does have the factory optional side skirts and rear spats

The interior has been kept up in equally fantastic shape. The black and red two tone seats look awesome contrasting off of the World Rally Blue. The seats are in great shape with no rips or tears. The same can be said about the dash and door panels. the carpets and headliners are free of any notable rips or stains. A Nardi steering wheel and shift knob have been added. The wheel is in great shape, however the knob does show some signs of wear (as noted in the pictures.) An easy to use Panasonic CN-MW200D touch screen double din has replaced the factory unit. Otherwise all of the factory accessories operate as they should. The A/C blows cold and all 4 windows operate as expected.

The heart of the GC8 is the two liter, turbocharged, flat four EJ20. The potent little boxer starts right up and has a nice, smooth idle. The power comes on smoothly with a quiet growl out of the factory exhaust. The 5 speed manual shifts smoothly and the clutch feels solid when transferring power to the AWD system. A viscous coupling type center differential and viscous limited slip rear differential were standard features from the factory and part of what made this car such a legend offroad. This is also the more desirable of the EJ20 lineup as it came with the fully closed deck block. This one is a great example of just why the Impreza has made such a lasting mark on the car scene.
