1992 Toyota Supra JZA70
This 1992 Toyota Supra is an exceptional example of the MKIII chassis. Over the years this one has managed to remain mostly stock. With 97K original miles the paint shows incredibly well with a deep sheen. All of the panels are very straight and free of any major dings or imperfections which is great since black cars have such a tendency to exacerbate any flaws. A tasteful set of 17" Layered wheels we added for a sportier feel. The trim around the rear window does show some signs of wear, but nothing aside from cosmetics. Otherwise this car has been kept in extremely good shape by it's previous owner.
The interior shows just as well as the outside does. Both of the front seats look nearly new, and the leather seats in the back look like they've never been used. The same goes for the carpet and headliner with no severe stains or rips to note. The power moonroof functions properly along with the power windows, seats, and mirrors. There have been two minor tweaks to the otherwise superb factory interior. A Razo Type 300 carbon shift knob and a period correct Momo 4 spoke wheel add a subtle touch to the already performance inspired cockpit.
The 1JZ-GTE fires right up with a deep and noticeable tone. The RS Sport cat back exhaust has a great low rumble at idle and sounds even better under load. A few simple bolt on goodies were added to the engine bay to help liven up the 2.5L twin turbo. An air intake and HKS Super Blow Off Valve have been fitted to help manage air flow. Along with a TRD strut tower brace to help minimize chassis flex. Otherwise the engine has been kept in great mechanical condition. The 5 speed transmission shifts like butter and the clutch has a solid, reassuring, engagement. The MKIII has become an increasingly desirable platform and to find one is such great factory original shape has become even harder. This turn key gem is just waiting to be shown off.
