Toyota's Land Cruiser 80 Series is a mixture of a rugged body on frame truck with just the right amount of luxury all in one. It is designed to haul the family comfortably on road trips as well jump off the beaten path for new adventures in style and comfort. This 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser VX Limited is equipped to do just that. Finished in Toyota's Light Beige Metallic (4K1) and light brown interior, this color combination looks amazing in person. The body has held up well over time with only a few minor rock chips in the paint. We were not able to verify the mileage on this SUV due to a gauge cluster swap that was done before it reached us here stateside, so it's being sold with unknown mileage.  A factory brush guard and Bosch fog lights are there to protect you off-road and adds a tougher look to the otherwise stock exterior. A set of 16" multispoke wheels and a set of 31" Falken AT tires will keep on the go, on and offroad. This luxurious 5-seater is reliable, rugged, comfortable, and would make a great year-round family hauler or weekend adventure overlander.

The 80 Series offers an immense amount of cabin space and is well appointed. The dash is free of the infamous cracking which is commonly found in vehicles from this era. The upholstery is dressed in a light grey with tan inserts on the seats which have held up well over the years. The door cards are intact showing just minimal wear on the armrests and inserts. The headliner has no sagging and is free of any stains or rips. The carpets throughout this Land Cruiser are tidy and are in overall great condition. Power amenities found in the cabin are electric windows, driver side one-touch window, power mirrors, and locks. The power-folding option is not working properly on the driver side but will still manually fold in when you need to. The factory steering wheel was swapped out for a MOMO steering wheel, which allows the driver a better grip and smaller diameter to navigate this rig. The VX limited model provides the driver with cruise control and a power sunroof which is perfect for the cool fall weather quickly approaching. This allows some fresh air in the cabin or a little bit more sun on those beautiful days. The compass and altimeter are functional for your off-road adventures, and easily visible at a quick glance. Another cool feature is found in the center console, the famous Toyota Coolbox. The housing its self has some sun fading but still functions properly! A Kenwood double din radio was installed and even a cd changer can be found in the back. The rear seats fold down 60/40 split to give you increased cargo space when you need it.

The Land Cruiser is equipped with the 1HD-T 4.2L turbo diesel motor that is very smooth, torquey, and efficient. We serviced this rig with a new air filter, two new batteries, new serpentine belts, and a fresh oil and filter service that gives peace of mind to the next owner. The 4-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and the power is linear to get you up to highway speeds with ease. Brakes are responsive and handle the size of this 80 series with no concerns. The suspension is forgiving and takes on the daily commute and even off-road adventures with ease. 16" multispoke wheels and 5 new 31" Falken AT are confident in anything you throw at them weather-wise as well as helping attain grip when your friend is stuck on a trail. If you do get stuck and need an assist, the center locking differential is easily activated on the dash with a push of a button. An Overlanding ready rig for your next adventure awaits you here at Japanese Classics.
