Toyota's long lineage of 4x4 Land Cruisers spans over seven decades. The Land Cruiser has a reputation for its capabilities off the beaten path, but until the 80 series, these body on frame utes would beat you and rattle your bones to death! Fortunately, this gasoline-powered, four-door, 4x4 has plenty of power amenities you could ask for in the mid-nineties and is offered with only 86K verified miles. Finished in a Dark Emerald Pearl (6M1) the truck is adorned with OEM rain guards and a set of chrome Center Line Daytona wheels. The body is in good shape other than the normal scuffs dings and dents associated with normal use. Lifted on pricey Ohlins suspension, with new 35" Falkens, this impressive VX Limited Cruiser can take you anywhere in style.

The interior is sizable and has some impressive features such as dual-zone climate control and a "coolbox" refrigerated center console. Power windows, locks, and mirrors are standard and an optional power sunroof are all functioning as expected, making this an ideal daily driver. Leather seat covers finish the look, although they have their fair share of scars from normal use. The seats are comfortable in both rows, and a functional Mitsubishi head unit powers the speakers if you're planning a long overland trip. A Momo wood grain wheel sits atop an adjustable steering column and matches swaths of wood grain applique around the cabin. The carpets and door cards are in fine shape, and the headliner sports a rather clever fishing rod holder. Opposed to the ones you see on front bumpers or tailgates (which leave you susceptible to thieves) these keep your expensive reels out of the elements. The cargo area is massive, and the tailgate clamshells open for wide access.

Powering this impressive truck is Toyotas bulletproof 4.5L 1FZ-FE. This silky-smooth six-cylinder befits from a fresh oil and filter service, and a new 12V battery to aid cold starts for years to come. Startup is effortless, and the near vibration-free idle keeps squeaks and rattles to a minimum. Power is sent to all four wheels through a selective transfer case, and accelerating up to highways speeds causes little stress. The beefy Ohlins suspension sorts out the road imperfections well and increases this rigs off-road prowess. The steering is power-assisted and the brakes feel confident at slowing this behemoth down to manageable speeds. Including the spare, five new oversized Falkens have been mounted and can handle all the sand, snow, and gravel you can throw at them.
