The Toyota Hilux is undoubtedly one of the best vehicles ever built by Toyota, and possibly by any manufacturer period. This 1992 Hilux Surf SSR-G example comes to us with only 77K original miles and a slew of rare factory options which make this Hilux both rare and nicer than your typical off road machine. While completely capable off road the SSR-G model is the top of the line when it comes to the Hilux models. Starting with the exterior the Blue Pearl Metallic (8E3) paint is one of our favorite colors for the Hilux and it looks stunning. The body is free of any major flaws, dents, or dings and the paint is impressive only showing minor imperfections from normal use. There are a few scratches but well above average for a vehicle this age. The SSR-G model includes 31" tires from the factory along with alloy wheels. The OEM optional front bull bar looks excellent and adds to the aggressive tone of this beautiful SUV. The OEM optional rear wing also looks great and is a nice addition to finish out the rear. The OEM spare tire mount is located on the rear gate and all 5 tires are brand new. The chrome grill, bumpers, and mirrors are all in fantastic condition. The only condition issue is on the right side of the rear bumper there is some minor rust visible in the photos below. Luckily this part is still available if a replacement is desired. It doesn't get much better than the look of this Hilux. It looks at home on the beach, on the trails, and in your garage.

The interior in the SSR-G is one of the best features of the top model. Factory Recaro seats were standard in this model and are not only comfortable but also provide additional support to keep you firmly planted in the seats when the road disappears and things get a bit rocky. It's even more difficult to find these OEM Recaro seats in this type of condition with virtually no bolster wear, no rips, and only minor discoloration on the driver seat back. The rear seats receive the same Recaro treatment along with the door panel fabric inserts (Recaro) which also include factory tweeters. The carpet is in beautiful condition and it's obvious this beautiful rig hasn't seen much, if any, off road use. The dash does have some cracking, which isn't visible from the drivers seat but it's an unfortunately common issue on this generation Hilux Surfs. The OEM CD player is also still present and standard on the SSR-G. There is typical wear on the leather shift knob and the OEM sunroof is fully functional and does not leak. Overall an extremely nice and rare interior.

The North American market never received the 2L-TE diesel version on the Hilux Surf (4-Runner) and while that's annoying, it's here now and it known for being a reliable and durable power plant. Pair with selectable 4WD and a difficult to find manual transmission this Hilux ticks all the boxes, and even a few you may not have even known you wanted! The engine start up quickly without hesitation while shifts through the manual gear box are smooth and trouble free. The 4WD functions properly and acceleration is excellent. As with all of our vehicles our trained technicians have thoroughly inspected this Hilux and all maintaince is up to date. A fresh oil change and 5 brand new 31" tires was that was needed on this excellently maintained SUV. Don't miss out on this rare top of the line Hilux Surf, you won't be disappointed!
