Nissan's Skyline is iconic, fun, and affordable and this 1992 exemplifies these traits. Finished in (TH1) Dark Blue Pearl, this understated sedan is offered with only 65K verified miles and features a turbocharged motor and prized manual transmission. The body is in good shape, other than a few errant minor dings and swirls in the paint. Equipped with a few go-fast bits to improve performance, this four-door delivers an incredibly rewarding drive, with room for five occupants.

The cockpit of this Nissan has all the essentials and is simple and straight forward. Starting with the seats, which is factory form are comfy and hold up well to wear. Other than the normal small imperfections you expect on older cloth, the seats are all in good shape. The driver's seat has been replaced with a Bride bucket, which hugs you tight in the turns. The bolstering is aggressive, and there has been some repair work done to the bolsters to cover up some damage. The gauges are easy to read, all the controls are at hand, and the R32 features a fully digital climate system that's simple enough to operate. Power amenities include folding mirrors, locks, and windows which make this a great option for a daily driver. The carpets and headliner are in good shape and even the owner's manual is still in the glove box. That's not to say that a 25-year-old car won't have some interior blemishes; for instance, the dash is bubbled and has some ghost lettering from a sticker still lingering in view. The radio bezel is cracked, and the sedan is devoid of audio and like many sedans, the C-Pillar trim is missing. For enthusiasts, a Momo steering wheel has replaced the OEM one for a sportier feel.

All the good stuff is obscured by the pretty sheet metal, however, Skyline fans will note this is GTS-t, and as such, features a silky smooth RB20DET. This punchy two-liter has been brought up to date on its maintenance schedule and starts up without an issue. It purrs like a kitten, as a larger 5Zigen ProRacer exhaust is fashioned out back. The engine is connected to a five-speed manual transmission, which shifts properly and maximized the fun-factor. The close-ratio unit allows for quick acceleration up to highways speeds, and the sedan has tons of RPM available for sustained highway cruises. New spark plugs and a fuel filter should be noted, and the next scheduled service visit isn't for another three-thousand mile. Our trained technicians have refreshed some suspensions items, and this Type M benefits from New HICAS arms, and a new upper front control arm as well. The ride quality is firmer than stock, and the R32 has been lowered onto KTS SC adjustable dampers in Japan. The handling is flatter as well, and this Skyline really hugs the curves. To further stiffen the structure, a Juran front strut tower braces the chassis even further. The brakes and steering feel are both decent and provide adequate feedback.

One of the most perfect sports cars ever designed is the Nissan Skyline. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too, as this dynamic platform has room for five and the handling and performance that matches the coupe. With the market appreciating rapidly, this Japanese Classic is an unbeatable value that you can enjoy every day!
