The clean styling, rewarding drive, and top tier engineering are all synonymous with the S13. Any chassis that is produced for nearly a decade must be good, and today's market values reflect that. The exterior is finished in Nissan's Pearl White (WK0) which is a classic color choice that will never go out of style. It's hard to believe that this Q's has been kept almost completely stock throughout its lifetime. We say nearly all stock as it has taken a few styling cues from its stablemate, the R32 GTR. A GTR styled grille is poised between the projector headlight setup and looks right at home. Since the stock wing is rather understated the more pronounced GTR wing sits atop the boot. The paint shows particularly well, free of any notable blemishes aside from a few little stone chips. The same can be said about the stock bodywork, but with only 60K verified miles that comes as little surprise.

The interior has been kept largely all stock, just like the body. The wood grain Momo wheel was added in place of the original and makes for a classy touch. Since the factory seats leave a bit to be desired an updated S15 driver's seat was installed. This offers considerably more support on both long drives and when it gets twisty. The stock passenger seat was retained and shows hardly any signs of use. The same goes for the back seats as nobody is ever chomping at the bit to squeeze back there. Of course like all S chassis the dash does have it's typical crack, however, a fully form-fitted dash mat was fitted to help prevent further damage and clean up the look in general. The carpeting and door cards have also held up well against the routine use over the years and look great. At some point, the rear parcel shelf was removed, on the bright side though that means you don't have to deal with the typical sun fading back there. Being a '92 it has all of the standard power accessories of the time; power windows, mirrors, locks, and a digital climate control system. All of these are functioning as you'd expect and bring an added level of comfort for day to day use.

The Silvia Q's was equipped with the SR20DE engine and fires to life instantly. Revs are smooth throughout the RPM band with no hesitation. People tend to sleep on the non-turbo SR20s, Nissan built them to have great torque down low and to be quite reliable. Plus in going with the NA route they also boast much better fuel economy. After all, these were built to be daily drivers, even it this one may not have been treated as such. Shifts through the 5-speed manual transmission are crisp and show no signs of grinding or slipping. The power is easily delivered out back and make this an ideal candidate for a daily driver. The stock suspension is more than comfortable yet stays planted when you decide to have a little fun. To ensure that everything is mechanically up to par we've gone over it and updated several routine wear items. New tires on all 4 corners, an A/C service, and a routine oil change has this Q's ready to tackle the US. Whether you're looking for a clean daily or a pristine start to a show car the Silvia is more than capable. There's a reason why these cars have become a cult classic and this gem is a great example as to why.
