This 1992 Mazda RX7 is truly one of Japan's most innovative sports cars. This was the inaugural year for the FD, where as the US market still had to wait a year. The instantly recognizable body lines still look current today. Overall this vehicle has been maintained extremely well with only 95K miles. The Silver Stone paint shows exceptionally well with very few flaws or imperfections. The front chin spoiler really completes the look of the front end, however it does some signs of use. Since many states mandate a front license plate there is a bracket that will be included with the sale. Free of any major dents or dings it's hard to believe that this car is 26 years old.

First thing you notice when climbing inside is the great set of Bride Brix adjustable race seats. These definitely add to the proper sorts car look and feel that the Efini so well deserves. The rear seats are factory black leather which was a rare option at the time. The front's do show a little bit of wear on the driver side bolster from getting in and out but nothing severe. A few additional items have been added to give a more race inspired feel to the cockpit. A Razo shift knob and stainless pedal covers match up to the gauge bezels nicely. Especially with that 8,000 RPM tach staring you in the face. A Sony WX-C500 double din was added that has both CD and Tape options so you can hook up a 3.5mm adapter for your phone to stream through. Otherwise it's a pretty factory feel from the inside. The driver side door does show a little bit of wear on some of the trim pieces but nothing aside from some light cosmetic scratches. At one point in time there were some dash mounted accessories so there are a couple of holes that can be seen in the pictures.

The infamous 13B Wankel fires right up with a very distinct tone. A Fujitsubo cat back exhaust has been added to help out in that department. Otherwise the motor remains completely stock. The seller claims that the engine was recently overhauled which we see no reason to doubt. The suspension has been upgraded with a factory strut tower brace and a set of Cusco coilovers. Fitted with a staggered set of Advan AVS VS-5 Split Spoke 17" up front with 18" complete the look without being out of place. The 5 speed shifts smoothly with a short, crisp, throw and the clutch engages nicely. At the end of the day this is one great RX7 for the enthusiast that is looking to get out and enjoy this car in the way it was intended.
