The truck market is diverse as any, and enthusiasts are keen to buy everything from lowered street trucks to big, bad, capable offroaders. This 1992 Surf is definitely the latter, and it sure looks the part. The Army Green bed-lined body can handle being run through the back forty, and would also be an attention-getter at the local Cars and Coffee. Fresh off a recent service, this five-seater is offered with only 72k verified and documented miles. Touting trademark Toyota toughness, and an identical driveline to US versions, ownership is convenient and stress-free. Unique, affordable, rugged, and practical, this Japanese Classic won't stay around long!

These spacious Hilux SUV's are great for families and those with an active, adventurous lifestyle. Yes this one does have a few blemishes we have taken into account when we priced this one, but as a whole it's in good working order. For instance, the dash has a few cracks and screw marks from a nav unit and the center stack trim is also cracked. We have seen worse, and importantly the N130 offers a clear view of the road ahead, that is completely unobstructed. The gray upholstery is in good shape overall, and aside from the driver's seat bottom, it lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The material is soft to the touch too, and is textured and durable. The headliner and door cards are in above average condition overall and were cared for in a prior life. If you plan to daily drive this rig, electric windows, mirrors, and locks are standard and work as advertised. Even the rear window powers down to provide extra ventilation. If you prefer A/C the climate control system is mounted centrally and does its job nicely. The carpets do have some stains and imperfections too, but that is fairly common. Still at 25 years old she's held together well and is in better shape than most 1992 4Runners you'd see for sale in the states.

Like the US 4Runner, these simple and sturdy N130s are easy to work on and service. The 3VZ-E powers this truck, and is fresh off an oil and filter service. The V6 starts up promptly thanks to a new 12v battery and idles confidently with its new spark plugs, injectors, and professionally rebuilt ECU. It should be noted that the expensive ECU refurbishment comes with a full lifetime, transferable warranty. Power is sent through a smooth-shifting automatic gearbox. It shifts properly and the driver can select 2WD for efficiency, and 4WD high or low are available too, if the outside conditions are not ideal. The Toyota accelerates adequately and can drive at highway speeds for sustained periods. If this is to be a commuter it also has functional cruise control which is a rare factory option. One of our trained techs has refreshed the driveline, adding new front tie rods to the Surf. The platform can handle large and small potholes alike with confidence, and a new alignment maximizes tire wear. The brakes are confident and the power steering is light. The black factory alloys have all been wrapped in new 31" Falken all-terrain tires. The new rubber looks mean but more importantly will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
