The 80 series Land Cruisers are iconic for a reason. Its mix of off road capabilities, legendary reliability, and low cost of ownership make this SUV remarkable. This particular example has only 54K original miles on the 4.2l straight six, gasoline power plant. Its rugged looks, and mix of cosmetic, interior, and suspension upgrades, make it a perfect turn-key daily driver, family hauler, and off road toy.

The exterior on this FJ80 Land Cruiser is in good condition, with signs of regular use. Showing no major blemishes, dings or dents the body is straight. At some point the paint was redone in a deep Black hue, however, it is by no means a show quality, and does have some slight irregularities. Matte over-fenders complete the look, giving the Land Crusier a bit more edginess. Chrome bumper and sidesteps have been fashioned around the rear and sides of the vehicle to ease accessibility and reduce exterior wear. Our trained technicians have also installed four newly powder coated grey alloy wheels, shod with new Toyo Open Country 34" tires.

The interior is also in good shape. The seats are in particularly good form, are overly sportive. The gray cloth is devoid of any major blemishes, fading or rips. This workhorse even includes the sought after OEM carpeted mats to protect the interior from mud and dirt. A large sunroof sits atop the cockpit up front, complete with proper operation of the venting and sliding functions. The dash has been touched up at some point to improve some surface cracks, but it doesn't rattle and can be easily covered by a dash pad. Rear occupants have their own a/c options, and the vehicle also features a usable third row. Power locks and windows are standard, and a/c and heat function. The door panels have had aftermarket speakers fitted, and an aftermarket headunit has also been added, which plays both CD's and DVD's. The carpet and headliner are both in very good condition, with no major staining or damage. A beautiful wood grain Altezza Disegno steering wheel has also been fashioned, providing some opulence and contrast to the darker cabin. Overall its a great interior.

Mechanically this 80 series Land Cruiser has one of the most reliable and desirable engines available, the 4.2l straight 6 gasoline. This workhorse engine starts right up and drives like a dream. We performed a fresh oil service insuring that the next owner need not service this truck for another 3000 miles. The exhaust has a throaty thrum, as a low key, but custom exhaust kit has been fitted. The 4WD system functions properly and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. As many off road enthusiasts care to know, one of the most desirable options is the electronically locking center differential. Best of all, this particular Toyota is equipped with it, and it functions fully. Also of note, the components used to increase ride height are all designed by Pro Comp; they are beefy and over engineered, and can handle some serious punishment. The kit includes not just an additional three inches of lift, but an upgraded steering stabilizer to deal with the heavier rolling stock. Whether it's a trip snowboarding in the mountains, or a quick pit stop at the local Costco, this capable Japanese Classic can handle it all.
