1991 Toyota Cresta JZX81
This 1991 Toyota Cresta (JZX81) has just 41k original miles and is tastefully modified. The exterior maintains a stock appearance with a slightly lower ride height. The paint shines nicely but does show some age with minor blemishes and a few scuffs on the front lip. The body is in good shape with straight panels and no major dents or dings. This Cresta also has a factory optional sunroof which is functioning correctly.
The interior is in very good shape for a vehicle this age. The digital dash is a neat feature and functions correctly. The seats have no major rips or tears but have a few minor stains. The dash has a few blemishes but no severe cracking or bubbling is present. The door panels, carpet, and headliner are all in great condition with no significant flaws. Changes in the interior include an aftermarket shift knob and Nardi steering wheel.
The 1JZ-GTE twin-turbo inline-six starts right away and pulls hard under boost. The R154 5 speed manual transmission, which is well known for its strength, shifts smoothly and correctly. The clutch is in good condition and does not slip when transferring power to the aftermarket limited-slip differential. The stock suspension has been replaced with JIC coilovers and plenty of stopping power is available thanks to the 300ZX (Z32) front brakes. A Tanabe Hyper-Medallion cat-back exhaust system has also been added by the previous owner.
