World-class luxury sedans like this 1991 Toyota Celsior are some of the most prized exports out of Japan. The island itself is small, and public transportation is fairly inexpensive, making examples like this one, offered with a mere 59K verified miles, possible to find. Finished in Jade Green Metallic (6K4), the body is in good shape other than a few minor dings, chips, and scuffs. Featuring factory adjustable air suspension, a smooth V8, and tons of power equipment, this is a Japanese Classic you won't want to miss out on.

The interior fit and finish are impressive even by new car standards. While the exterior color is rare and highly prized, its actually the rare leather option that sets this one apart. While commonplace stateside, the Japanese are rather anti-leather due to the wear factor. Surrounded by power equipment; the driver benefits from a tilting and telescoping electric column, and both front seats are fully powered and operating as they should. Even the seat belt adjusters are powered, as well as the locks, windows, and power-folding mirrors. All these items work and are complemented by a digital climate control system and OEM audio. A new compressor has been installed to ensure that the A/C blows cold for the remainder of summer. The head unit is actually powered and sends clean, crisp, tunes to the front and rear speakers. The leather seats are almost perfect and lack any rips, holes, or tears. The front and rear occupants all have cupholders, and plenty of space to relax. The carpets and door cards are in good nick, as is the headliner. Even the OEM plush carpet floor mats located in the trunk are included!

The heart of this Celsior is its 4.0L 1UZ-FE V8. This silky smooth, compact engine benefits from a fresh oil and filter service and doesn't require any scheduled maintenance for another three thousand miles. It turns over with the twist of a key thanks to a newly installed 12V battery, which should last at least four more years. You can hardly hear any of the driveline in the cabin, and the sedan easily coasts up to highway speeds when the throttle is depressed. The automatic transmission shifts like butter and sends all the power rearward. The air suspension is ride height adjustable and has several selectable modes for ride quality. The TEMS system is fully operational, and large and small road imperfections are easily sorted. The brakes feel linear, and the factory alloys are wrapped in four new all-season tires.
