These days, there's certainly no shortage of clean, low mileage sport sedans coming out of Japan, but sometimes you have to pay your respects to the original. Despite their self appointed title as champions of the "Four Door Sports Car'', Nissan's R32 GTST still proves to be a remarkable performer when stacked up against later model turbo tourers. Offered up with 71k unverified miles due to an instrument cluster change, this sleek 1991 Skyline is free of any unnecessary aftermarket modification and comes ripe with some choice OEM extras to boot! Finished off in Dark Green Metallic (DH0) not only is the exterior option rare but it looks fantastic on this four door. The exterior wears just a few choice extras associated with the Type M package, including a rear spoiler, mud guards, and factory fog lights. We did want to note that the window trim is not perfect, showing typical age related signs of peeling around the front and rear glass. Other than that, the outside has remained perfectly untouched, even retaining the factory forged alloys on all four corners. Fresh off a recent service, this spritely saloon is ready for a new lease on life stateside, and is a Japanese Classic sure to attract attention wherever it goes.

The interior is clean and is ripe with plenty of power amenities to make daily driving a breeze. Despite being a bit dated, the factory patterned cloth upholstery has held up remarkably well, and if you can see past a few burn holes scattered about the driver and passenger seat there's not much to turn your nose up at. The dash is clean and in good nick for the most part, save from some expected bubbling above the passenger side glovebox area and around the cluster bezel. Other than that, the remainder of the dash and its lower trim are clean and crack free. We also wanted to note that the A pillar trim is not present, but that does little to take away from the looks of this classic interior. Positioned in the center stack is a fully functional digital automatic climate control unit, ripe with cold A/C and hot heat to be a certified year-round warrior! The cabin is equipped with enough power amenities to make the drive stress free, and power windows, locks, and even power folding mirrors all work at the push of a button. The back seats serve up plenty of space for two additional passengers, and you could easily road trip in this thing with a full squad. Overall, apart from the aforementioned defects and some light wear on the steering wheel and door cards, it's hard to pick apart this classic interior.

Under the bonnet sits Nissan's powerhouse RB20DET. This 2.0 straight six sports a quick spooling ceramic turbocharger and fires up without a hitch, care of a new 12V battery. Skyline fanatics will be pleased to see this marvelous motor still retains its efficient factory airbox and exhaust system, making operation whisper quiet for day-to-day use. The motor idles smoothly and confidently thanks to new spark plugs down the board. Lubrication has been fully addressed, and a new rear main seal, valve cover gasket, and a fresh oil and filter service ensure you won't lose a drop. A new radiator, fuel pump and filter were also taken care of to give the RB a new lease on life! Acceleration is potent, even in stock form. The 5 speed box is a great companion for such a powerhouse motor. Shifts are direct and near effortless, while a new clutch kit and one piece driveshaft ensure smooth operation. Our trained technicians have completed the above maintenance and given this R32 the green light for many happy miles ahead. The stock suspension is still responsive and comfortable, a factory strut tower brace stiffens up the chassis a tad, and the brakes stop on a dime. We've even installed four new Falken tires, giving this sedan plenty of grip for the roads ahead.
