The Pulsar GTi-R is the definition of a unique “Hot Hatch”. It’s very nimble with an impressive factory output of 227 horsepower which combines with the ATTESA AWD system for a very capable driving machine. With less than 15,000 produced, it’s a rare and desirable import that is sure to go up in value. This 1991 Nissan Pulsar GTi-R is in very good condition and has just 79k original miles. The factory Red paint (AJ4) shines very nicely with no severe blemishes. The black trim does have some fading which is common for vehicles this age. The body matches the paint and is in good shape with no major dents or dings.

The interior is one of the cleanest we’ve seen for a GTi-R and remains almost completely original with the only changes being an aftermarket shift knob and head unit. The seats and door panels are in very good condition with no major rips of tears. The headliner and carpet follow suit with no severe staining. The dash is clean with no cracks or bubbles. A rare OEM optional “Puretron” air purifier system can be found inside. Even the OEM umbrella, which commonly goes missing, is still present.

The turbocharged 2.0L SR20DET starts right away and idles correctly. Shifts through the 5 speed manual transmission are smooth and the clutch does not slip. Power is put to the ground through the ATTESA AWD system which allows the GTi-R to accelerate from 0-60 mph in approximately 5 seconds. Mechanically it’s been left mostly original with the only major changes being a Fujitsubo 2.5” cat-back exhaust system and Cusco front strut bar. All systems are functioning correctly including the A/C and heating systems. Overall this GTi-R is a clean and almost completely original example. Offered at $12,995.
