Nissan R32 sedans are nearly impossible to find in Japan. It's rare we see them anymore, and this 1991 is a really good one. It boasts a punchy RB20DET, manual gearbox, and is offered with a mere 79k verified and documented miles. Our GTS-t is finished in a fresh coat of Crystal White (326) and aside from a few light blemishes the body and paint are in good nick. Fresh off a recent service, including a new clutch, this sporty sedan is turn-key and ready to rock. Balanced, practical, and fun, this Type M is a dream to drive and surely won't last long! Iconic and collectible these four-door Skylines are only going to appreciate, but then again what did you expect, it's a Japanese Classic.

The cabin is simple in its layout and has room for five passengers. The durable gray upholstered cloth is in good shape and shows very minimal use. The view of the road ahead is clear and the dash does have some cracks underneath the dash mat we wanted to mention. The typical bubbling on the passenger side and the common lifting around the climate vents are also present. The automatic digital climate control is easily worked with the push of a button, ready to blast cold a/c for those hot summer days or hot heat for those cold nights. The upgraded Eclipse head unit is also fully functional and the sound quality is actually decent. The headliner is not showing any sagging, tearing, or stains as other vehicles would show. Power windows, power locks, and power mirrors are standard, work like a charm, making daily use enjoyable. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as there is a tiny cut in the passenger side door card, the power-folding mirror function is inoperable, and the driver side passenger window switch button is missing but still functions. Still, at 25 years of age, it's in good shape overall having been cared for in a prior life, and it also includes the Japanese owner's manuals, too!

Under the hood sits a really refined turbo six-cylinder. The legendary RB20DET is fresh off an oil and filter service and starts up promptly thanks to its new 12v battery. New serpentine belts have been installed to keep all the accessories powered and the 2.0L idles with hardly a vibration. Originally an automatic, the R32 was changed over to a five-speed manual gearbox. The engine's torque is sent to the rear wheels as it should be and the platform has nearly perfect weight distribution. To save the next owner some greenbacks, one of our trained techs has installed a new clutch and gear shifts can be performed flawlessly. It's a joy to run up and down the gears and the sedan accelerates quite well. We also refreshed the driveline while up on the lift and one of our trained techs replaced the front tension rods and the hicas outer ball joints. Plus we did a fresh alignment that will prolong tire life. While the hicas light is still on, it's due to the steering wheel. The power steering is light and responsive and the brakes are tight and tidy. At higher speeds, this R32 is composed and there are very few squeaks or rattles to note. Lastly, we wrapped the five-spoke factory alloys in new rubber. The all-season tires quiet down the ride even more so and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
