This 1991 Nissan President is exactly what a large luxury sedan is all about. It has plenty of interior space thanks to a long wheelbase and provides a very luxurious feel when driving. It’s an extremely enjoyable vehicle in stock form or the perfect starting point for a VIP build. The exterior on this example is in good condition and the body has no major dents or dings. The paint has a few light blemishes but still shines nicely with plenty of depth in the black paint. The appearance has been kept stock with the exception of 19” Hyperion chrome wheels.
Inside the President is loaded with extras and full power amenities. The rear seats recline and have plenty of leg room for passengers. The optional leather front seats show some light wear but are still very comfortable. All interior panels are in good shape and all trim pieces are present. The dash has no cracks or bubbles and a VIP table tray has been added which pairs nicely with the woodgrain accents.
Mechanically it runs excellently and needs nothing. We’ve logged over 200 miles during our test mileage process and it’s been nothing but enjoyable. The VH45DE (4.5L DOHC V8) engine starts right away and accelerates smoothly. Shifts through the 4 speed automatic transmission are smooth and a viscous LSD is standard. Other standard features include traction control, ABS, and 4 wheel multi-link active suspension. Currently the vehicle has 47k original miles.
