The Nissan Figaro has gained a popular following in the U.S. since becoming legal for importation earlier this year. Of the 20,000 produced, 6,000 were produced in “Emerald Green”. This specific example is in very good condition for its age and runs exceptionally well. The exterior features OEM optional wheels and a rare option, external “Tokyo Nouvelle Vague” plaques, which were only offered on 1,500 Figaros. The paint still shines nicely with no severe blemishing. No major dents or dings are present and the soft top is free of damage.

The interior has been kept almost completely original with the exceptional of an aftermarket head unit. The seats have no major rips or tears and show only light wear typical for the Figaro. The door panels are very nice in appearance and the dash is free of cracks.

Mechanically it runs very well – the 987cc MA10ET turbocharged four cylinder starts right away and accelerates very linearly thanks to an adequately sized turbocharger. The 3 speed automatic transmission shifts correctly and smoothly. Overall the vehicle is road worthy with all systems working correctly – including the A/C. Currently this example has 43k original miles.
