This 1991 Nissan Cefiro SE-4 is equipped with the RB20DET which transfers power through Nissan’s ATTESA Electronic Torque Split AWD system. Brand new the Cefiro was more expensive than the equivalent Skyline and marketed as a luxury vehicle. In stock form it included many features such as an automatic tinting rear mirror, power adjustable seats, automatic projector headlights, HICAS four-wheel steering, steering wheel audio controls, and other items you would expect to find in a luxury vehicle. The SE line up in 1990 moved to revised taillights, bumpers, and updated interior.
This specific Cefiro is in great condition with 64k original miles. The white paint still shines very nicely and has no severe blemishes. The body is in similar shape and without major dents or dings. Factory optional front bumper intersection lights are also present. The interior on this example is also in very good condition. The dash does have bubbling, but the area around the cluster is free of blemishes and there are no cracks. The door panels and seats are nearly mint and show minimal wear. The carpet and headliner have no major staining and are in good shape. The stock radio has been replaced with an aftermarket head unit with a built in CD player.
Mechanically it runs excellently and would make the perfect daily driver. The RB20DET starts right away and idles correctly. Shifts through the 4 speed automatic transmission are smooth and the ATTESA AWD system is functioning correctly. The A/C is also working and blows cold. Overall the SE-4 model drives similar to the Skyline GTS-4 with a much more luxurious feel.
