The 180SX Type-X is arguably one of the most sought after cars in Japan. We just got this 1991 180SX with the full aero treatment. Coming to us with 116K original miles it has been tastefully modified with some great pieces. Most noticeably being the full Type-X aero and tail lights. In addition the center panel has been color matched in the original Sandstone Beige (KG4). The paint looks fantastic and shows great in the sun. It's a nice change up as this is hard to come by color. The body looks fantastic and is free of any major dents or dings. Overall the bodykit itself lines up pretty well but could use a little bit of tweaking to be perfect. To help the stance match the aggressive tone of the body a set of JIC coilovers have been added. Sitting on a set of 16" Pansports completes the look. The headlights have also been upgraded with a set of Raybrig lamps and Diamond Blue bulbs since the factory ones are quite dim.

The interior has been lightly modified as well. Right off the bat you'll notice the awesome Recaro Confetti bucket on the driver side. The passenger and rear seats are in great shape. There is one small burn hone on the passenger seat, otherwise it's free of any rips or stains. The carpets and headliner have been maintained as equally well. The steering wheel has been upgraded to a MoMo as well as a Razo shift knob to round things out. In place of the original radio is a Kenwood 1.5 din with CD/Tape compatibility. The door speakers have also been swapped out for a set of Carrozzeria 4x6's. The dash does have the typical crack in it which is to be expected with most any S chassis.

Popping the hood reveals the most desired motor offered in the 180 lineup. The red top SR20DET has been kept in all original condition. It fires right up and sounds mean through the Fujitsubo catback exhaust. Idle is nice and rowing through the 5 speed is even better. Power comes on smooth and strong all the way to the 7.5K redline. Being one of the most popular platforms out there right now means finding parts to make this build your own will be a breeze. The suspension is stiff, as with any coilover setup, but doesn't beat you to death. Finding a clean S13 has become quite a challenge these days, especially one in as great a shape as this one. Making for one slick turn key daily or a great start for a build, either way you can't go wrong.
