The 180SX is a car that really needs to no introduction. Out of the gate the S chassis is incredibly capable platform and this particular 180 has only taken that one step further. As for the basics this 1991 has 63K miles and is finished in one of the best options; Super Black (KH3). The exterior has had some subtle changes made to give it a more aggressive appearance. Four slots were made in the nose for better airflow and really give the front a unique look. Below that a set of Ichikoh yellow fog lights were mounted. When pictured it had lamin-x style black out film on it that was peeling. That has since been removed and made the lights far more functional. A set of fiberglass side skirts and rear spats were added to complete the lowered look all around. With the side skirts being fiberglass there is some spiderweb cracking that can be seen under the paint. Overall the pant has been kept up rather well and shows nicely. The same can be said about the body as both are free of any major blemishes.

The interior follows the same pattern with some nice additions. The first thing that immediately jumps out at you is the fixed back Bride bucket seat. The right side of the bolster does have some wear from getting in and out of the form fitting seat, but could probably be cleaned up by a good upholstery shop. Atop the gauge cluster carbon faced Blitz boost and temp gauges were added. A classic Nardi 3 spoke wheel and Razo shift knob round out the controls. As with most every S13 the dash is cracked but there are several options when it comes to cleaning that up if desired. The rest of the interior has been well maintained. The passenger and rear seats are in great shape and free of any rips or tears. The carpeting as well as the seats are free of any notable stains. Full automatic climate control with cold A/C is still present. The interior is where you begin to see some of the chassis braces that have been added. A Do-Luck floor bar along was installed behind the front seats. Up top a Rash Facture C pillar brace was installed. This sits just above the back seats but below the hatch itself as to not impede with anything. In the hatch itself is a Cusco strut tower brace.

Under the hood has been kept relatively stock. Powered by the SR20DET that made the S chassis so popular to begin with. The two liter fires right up and idles nicely. The Fujitsubo catback is definitely noticeable when you fire it up. The transmission shift smoothly and with ease. The clutch does feel as if it's been upgraded as the pedal is quite firm and the engagement is very quick. A HPI intake was added along with upgraded Cusco radiator hoses. Underneath is a full skid plate to protect the oil pan from any unforeseen mishaps. More chassis bracing has been added front and rear with a Cusco strut tower mount looming over the engine bay. Underneath are a full set of JIC Magic control arms and rear lower support bar. Cusco coilovers give this S13 it's mean stance. Sitting on a set of 15" mesh SSR's complete the package. For those after a proper driver's car this 180SX already has the basics covered. With everything already done to this it would be great the way it sits, but with the aftermarket support the S chassis has there's no end to what you could do with this one.
