Although we received the MKIII Supra in the U.S., we did not receive the same trim levels that were offered in Japan or the twin turbo 1JZ-GTE engine. This 1990 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo Limited is a mostly stock example which currently has 97k original miles. The paint shines nicely with plenty of depth, but does have some minor blemishes commonly found with older vehicles. The body is in very good shape with no major dents or dings. The factory power folding mirrors are also undamaged, something we almost never see. The exterior maintains a stock appearance with the only change being a set of 17” Kei Office wheels.
Inside you’ll find a digital dash which was standard with the Limited model and provides a very retro feel to the cabin. The seats and door panels do show some wear, but nothing abnormal for 27 year old leather interior items. Changes on the interior include a Momo “Prototipo” steering wheel and a rare Mooneyes dash mat. All carpet and trim pieces appear to be present as well.
The 1JZ-GTE that powers this JZA70 Supra starts right away, idles correctly, and accelerates strongly under boost. Shifts through the R154 5 speed manual transmission are smooth and the clutch does not slip. Notable factory features include TEMS, ABS, and A/C. No mechanical modifications have been made, allowing the next owner to choose which direction to go. Offered at $11,995.
